  1. Maximum on the list is 44. We can only go to 38 senior players if we don't use up the two spare rookie spots.
  2. You have pretty much capture every bit of my thoughts there. Did you invade my thoughts or something?
  3. And I'm sure all the first three options can be found at the fourth!
  4. I just hope we made the right choice of Aidan Johnson over Riak. At the moment I'm in two minds.
  5. What was the communication? Coz right now I’m livid.
  6. I wondered around and finally found The somebody who Picks out random grammatical errors in posts..... (BTW it would be more authentic to say Frank Sinatra instead of Harry Connick Jnr. But that's simply my version of pedantic :) )
  7. On the club's socials this morning they put up interviews with both boys. Harvey said he'd trained with Melbourne during the year, and was expecting to be drafted by Melbourne. He expressed he's excited about joining Melbourne, and that his favourite player to watch growing up was Petracca. I don't think we have much to worry about.
  8. Why not? We do!
  9. Banno was dudded, I reckon.
  10. A quick look at his Insta, his responses are about as monosyllabic as his interview last night. He's simply a man of few words.
  11. I would think so, yes. Great opportunity to meet the new teammates.
  12. I didn't really get he was unhappy with being selected, I just got that he's a teenager still going through the non-communicative grunty teenage boy phase that they all seem to experience at some stage.
  13. Me, Katrina. I'm the TikTok content creator for Demon Army.
  14. Some in the Demon Army came across a feel good story about Harvey. Apparently he and Caleb Windsor grew up together and are close mates, their dads were mates playing for Knox for many years. So I'm sure he'll feel right at home at the club alongside Leb :)
  15. I would have thought it's Lingers and Langers. Either way, they could probably consider going into business with a potential business name like that 🤣
  16. Wasn't Ed Langdon there last week?
  17. Ghostwriter report - Hey Katness, Some tidbits… Tom Campbell finally has his kit. Doesn’t know his jumper number yet. Incidentally, he’s 6ft7 (204cm)!!! Selwyn takes perverse pleasure in making the boys run… A LOT (his words not mine, and said with a smile and a wink as in joking but at the same time totally not joking). Tmac didn’t train on Monday because he was sick as a dog. He became unwell on Friday and was put on antibiotics. He was much improved by Monday but they advised against training because he’d lost a significant amount of weight. He weighed himself before and after today’s session as ordered by Peter, the head physio, who needs to insure he’s re-gained what he lost. Tmac’s baby girl is due around Xmas time but he’s sure she’ll come earlier than that because she’s “tracking well ahead of time.” Such a footy player way to put it. 😁 Goody said Jeffo to definitely debut early in the season. Sesto still a while off since he’s not quite ready yet, but is close. Sesto’s hammy nothing to worry about, they’re just being super cautious. Roo likes being described as having a bit of mongrel but he doesn’t think he has and hopes to develop it. Despite being listed as 195cm on the MFC website, Jeffo is actually 197cm. All-time favourite songs: Jeffo- Thunderstruck, AC/DC Bill Laurie- Californication, RHCP Marty Hore- You Were Right, Rufus Roo- (needs more time to think but for now) Black Betty Pup Brown- any and everything Drake Will V- Back In Black, AC/DC Future training (at this stage)… This Friday Gosch’s 10am-midday Next week Mansfield The following week beginning Monday 2nd December Gosch’s on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with the final session on Weds 18th December. Post-Xmas training begins on either the 7th or the 14th of January (yet to be announced). Note: no training at Casey Fields for now because the surface is being worked on. That is all 👍🏽
  18. The largest users of those social media apps are still young people aged 16-30. It's not going to be banned for them. And this market is just as valuable, perhaps more so, because they have disposable income.
  19. argh, how's this or annoying. I was wondering why my pack wasn't coming yet, and then yesterday I got an email saying my November 1st payment didn't go through. As it turned out I forgot to inform the club of my new card details! All fixed now but it means my pack will be coming in a few weeks' time 😩
  20. Do you need to take a Bex and have a lie down, there, old champ?
  21. This is an example of the kind of stuff I’ve created for Demon Army TikTok https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSjm8uVaj/ This post is shared via TikTok. Download TikTok to enjoy more posts: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSjm8srsM/
  22. I think their social media creator is yet to graduate primary school, going by the type of content they're creating. Pure cringe.
  23. As a media teacher this is an area of interest to me, and as the person who creates the content for the Demon Army TikTok, the content aspect is something I'm constantly looking into. The club certainly could improve in the content aspect and what I'm finding is what they post on the TikTok mirrors what they put on Facebook, Twitter (I refuse to call it X) and Instagram. TikTok is a very different beast, and it takes a fair bit to capture a following, given most people would scroll past a video within the first couple of seconds of the clip. I've made about 600 or so TikToks for the Demon Army account, and as far as I'm aware, only us and Sydney Swans cheersquads (both their NSW and Vic) are active on TikTok, and Swans approached me at the start of the year about how to go about it. It's captured a reasonable following, but certainly I've been more active with the Demon Army TikTok than the club has been for theirs. I miss Ben Gibson, he did great stuff for the club social media.
  24. Thank you :) My membership has been consecutive since the age of 14 in 1985. I remember during the early 2000s the membership card stated the first year we were members, mine said 1979, when I would have been 8. I asked Dad about that, he said he'd bought a family membership and put my name and my brother's name on it, but since Mum was a Hawks supporter, there was no other adult for the membership, so he didn't do it again until 1985 when my brother became an adult (he turned 18). It was more cost effective that way. Nonetheless, once I turned 18 in 1989, we just bought individual memberships, and we joined Redlegs the year before in 1988. I've been a Redlegs member since. Dad was a 50 year member when he passed away in 2019.
