  1. Absolutely awful quarter
  2. Caleb's a good kick when he uses his run to get some time
  3. Definitely not a ruck, but can play as key position on both ends
  4. https://7news.com.au/sport/afl/clayton-olivers-home-broken-into-by-thieves-ahead-of-afl-milestone-c-19400197
  5. Absolutely, kozzy is a midfielder. He is probably averaging 20+ centre bounce attendances this year.
  6. We aren't GC or GWS, we simply dont have any regular goal scoring small half forwards on the list Chandler is close to a goal a game, and after that it's slim pickings
  7. 9 tackles and 10 contested possessions as a half forward is more than ok
  8. Sharp was very good in the VFL last week, as was Billings and Spargs, all could be a like for like replacement. Unlucky for Howes who played a blinder as well Big midfield battle coming up, will be a good test
  9. Must be coming from his end, we have spent a lot of time re tooling him to play a new role. I doubt we would put in that effort if we planned on trading him. He does have value though, if we are pushing a build he may be one to go. Premiership forward, multiple time leading goal kicker... I'm wanting a top 15 pick and maybe some late pick swaps.
  10. Rivers plays HB or mid, no universe he gets played at HF.
  11. I've changed my mind again on these team changes, before Howes concussion we trusted him to be our 3rd key tall and he deserves the same opportunity again. In: Howes, May, Spargo/Billings Out: TMAC, Lever, Sparrow
  12. Out: Sparrow, Lever In: Spargo/Billings, May OR Out: Sparrow, Lever In: Howes, May Howes can free up Lindsay to play on the wing
  13. 😘 enjoy the win mate
  14. Exactly, he consistently lands in the top 3 for work rate in defence. If people want to see a stand out trait, it's that.
  15. That kick to Melk made me drool. His gut run to spoil (3rd quarter?) was also exceptional. 3 goal assists, 9 score involvements, 500m gained. Seriously good.
  16. The kid had an injury that kept him out for 12 weeks. I will hold on passing judgement until he has a full preseason or two under his belt. Was nibs doing this in his 2nd year? Bit of a revisionist history IMO. He certainly stood out with his work rate, but his disposal used to be horrendous and he was incredibly fumbly.
  17. The main changes I would make would be to send off Radford/Jones and recruit a genuine, experienced midfield and tactics coach. We really appointed these two out of necessity as no other assistant coach was available IMO. With the cap, left over I'm recruiting a new goal kicking and skills coach, leaving Choco as just a dev coach.
  18. Windsor is interesting. He was dropped, went to Casey to play midfield. Playing at HB wasn't working, I hope he comes back to the 1s in a new role.
  19. McVee has a very high ceiling. He is not a 'lockdown' defender exclusively. Half back is now one of the most important positions on the ground as a lot of scoring relies on good ball use out of the back half. He is a great runner, moves well through traffic and is a good kick. We would be extremely unlucky to lose him off the back of this all around terrible year, where he is struggled to build fitness and form off the back of an interrupted pre-season.
  20. I dont disagree that we need a shake up in the football department, but Judd is our only best 22 player OOC. The majority of our young talent is contracted.
  21. Took some marks on the lead Nailed his scoring opportunities Kicked well inside 50 More of this please from Rooey
  22. Lever's ankles are made of glass
  23. JVR has shown nice kicking inside 50 in the VFL, looking good by foot today as well
  24. Lever/TMAC is trickery In: Adams, JVR Out: Howes, Petty Sub is rotated between Billings/Sharp/Kolt
