  1. Perhaps with Windsor, we already have a speedster with suspect ball use. Farrow has the potential to slot right in at HB, has better ball use and some scope to go into the midfield later.
  2. He is the next best Mid/Forward after Robey. He will be in our sights for this reason alone I think. Landing a gamer ala James Jordon would not be a bad outcome in a middling draft, he landed 3rd in their BnF anyway. You're only as strong as your weakest link as they say.
  3. Love how he crashes packs with that big leap
  4. Atkins will be in the development program, working under Whitford
  5. I think we will probably finish 14th as we did this year I think Richmond over achieved last year, and WC and North have not improved very much Port and Essendon will be down here as well IMO
  6. I think what makes this draft weaker than others are the question marks over a couple of fairly talented players between 5-15. I expect Rich/WC/Dons to take Duursma/Sharp/Grjl or Robey by 7 and 8. Therefore, we are left with some key position players or questionable mids. Therefore, I think the smart decision is to trade up to access a player you are very confident will be good (likely Robey) and then slide to pick a more speculative later pick such as Jevan Phillipou or Oskar Taylor. At 7/8 I think both will end up as speculative.
  7. With questions about this drafts quality outside the academy selections, midfielders are the safest bet. I don't think it's the right time pick a small forward in the top 10, even though we do have this gap on our list. I'm going for Lindsay/Grjl and hoping to snag young Pickett with 37.
  8. Hawks lost a stack of depth, have a poor draft hand no notable f/s and NGAS to recruit.
  9. Great deal Points/picks for White and Sinnema 3x first rounders
  10. Coming around to it. Similar player to Viney and Clarry but less drama, can be dropped if required, can be played out of position if required. Good coverage as defensive mid which may be extra useful with the extended bench.
  11. Releasing two inflexible slow, mids for another Pass
  12. My gut feel is Clarry stays, Trac will be traded for picks
  13. Welcome CJ. Great replacement for Judd. Ensures Riv and others do not have to make up the difference in the backline next year.
  14. https://www.zerohanger.com/afl-draft-profile-latrelle-sumner-pickett-potential-landing-spots-draft-range-strengths-169805/
  15. Assuming the new Casey head coach, pinched from Gippsland Power
  16. Ainsworth is not much of an upgrade on Durdin surely?
  17. Don't mind it, still not 100% confident Howes or Adams locks down a spot as the 3rd tall.
  18. I still blame him for the missed spoil in the Carlton final
  19. Probably about right unfortunately
  20. The top end of the draft has a handful of tough, capable ball users We know these young players can make an instant impact as well Missing out on Flanders is disappointing but Humphrey is a fantasy, more than likely we will receive 6 and 13
  21. Has requested a trade, presume there will be a token 4th rounder to not dilute the compo
  22. They have another project ruck in Dodson who they will retain https://www.saints.com.au/players/10708/alex-dodson
  23. Picks are appealing for the Suns. They are in the market for Sainters first rounder in a deal for Flanders. Bidding on academy players is much more expensive compared to previous years.
  24. Would do Petracca and 23 or Spargo comp for Humphrey in a heartbeat
  25. The players are clearly leaking it. Clayton posted an instagram story, tagging Mitch Cleary, with Mitch reposting the story and saying thanks for the chat Clayton.
