  1. Fritta has started well
  2. AJ makes me laugh! But one day it's not gonna be funny
  3. 4th quarter slaughter
  4. Woey/Billings/Kynan - All played around the ball and were okay. Deplorable hand balling on several occasions. Kicking in space and link was good. Roo - Impressive marking around the ground. Set shots were wayward but it was good to see him stick some 1 grab marks multiple times today. Building slowly. TC - The big man is fun to watch. He is much slower to get up then everyone else but he competes every contest and runs all day. Sestan - Plays the bowey role to a tee. Took some nice overhead marks today as well. Jeffo - Leaps at the ball well and ended with a nice free kick tackle to finish his day. He marked well in forward 50, often crashing a pack to get it done. Our forward line got so much supply today that I don't put much stock on the goals kicked by Jeff/Fullars/Roo (+23 clearances, +34 inside 50s). It mattered much more how they got them and what they did around the ground.
  5. Cant agree, Jeffo leaps at the ball much better than Fullars. Bit crafter as well.
  6. Finally, Fullarton cashes in. Kicked 3.3 with at least 3 shots at goal that didn't even score.
  7. Inside 50s, 29-6
  8. He's also been pretty brave in a couple marking contests as well
  9. Roo with great grabs, gets his first
  10. TC flushes one from 50 😲
  11. He is an emergency...
  12. Couldn't agree more When Melksham needed a rest he was managed, he was not omitted. TMAC was omitted, not rested. He is an emergency, he is available to play this week.
  13. Unfortunately for TMAC, Turner has nailed down that 3rd tall spot. Lever is a must include, just like McVee he will build form in the 1s. TMAC is definitely stiff but you probably can't play 4 tall defenders at once. No other team has the such high quality key back depth, absolute luxury. Competiton for spots is really heating up, great work from the fitness team and the playing group.
  14. I think Lever comes straight in next week, he pushes Windsor out of the backline. I would also drop Sharp and Spargo. Any of Viney/Pickett/Langdon could fill the HF spots. Windsor can play a mix of HF or wing. In: Viney, Lever Out: Spargo, Sharp
  15. FAMOUS VICTORY ✌️
  16. We are holding this ball inside 50, time is on our side 🤞
  17. There's still heaps of time in this quarter, we're in this
  18. We are building, lovely finish from Chin
  19. Pluggaaaa
  20. Melk plays with arrogance, I like it - we need to stand tall
  21. Yes the 10 day protocol started on Thursday as you stated.
  22. Sharp or Spargs will be sub this week, I don't think you need to nominate from your extended bench. Plus, we have pretty much ran a half forward as sub the whole year. Losing ANB was a huge deal and we massively lack depth at HF. The only clear 22 half forwards are Sparrow, Chandler and Kozzy (who is more of a mid these days). Otherwise, Spargo and Fritta are our most senior mature players in this position. We are left to choose from Kolt (limited pre season, not in great form), Sharp (not in great form), Laurie (historically has struggled at HF), Kynan (young and inexperienced) and Henderson (same as Kynan). I don't this is is a selection integrity issue, it's just the reality of who is available on the list.
  23. We certainly can trade our '26 and '27 first round picks at the end of the year. The original deal was effectively pick 13, future first, future 2nd and pick swaps. In a way, we get Jackson and Windsor for 3 first rounders. I'd take that deal any year.
  24. The stats don't agree, Bergman is rated in the top 20 worst kicks in the comp according to champion data. The champion data system all takes into consideration the level of risk, pressure etc.
  25. Decision making with ball in hand and overall disposal efficiency is not to AFL standard and probably has not improved much this year. His speed, work rate and tackling pressure is awesome though. He is still lightly framed as well.
