We also had a very easy start to 2022 in those first 10 rounds, only playing two top 8 sides in Bulldogs and Richmond, both of whom failed to win a final. Struggled to find purpose 🤔 I thought the purpose and motivation was to win one at the G in front of the fans in 2022. That’s what Gawn and co preached for a while after the flag. And I honestly thought that 2022 would more or less just happen due to that factor. We must supremely confident that he’ll still be reasonably productive in his 34th and 35th years. I think we can get a good year out of him next year but you’d have to wonder about the two years after. On the positive, we’ll have a reasonably deep medium-tall forward depth chart in Mihocek, Melksham, Fritta, JVR, Jeffo, Kentfield. Whether the last 2 are AFL standard remains in question.
