  1. Anyone know if he'll be available round 1 next year? Still an important component of the team.
  2. My prediction is that the club will ask Moloney to retire...(polite way of being de-listed) One injury plagued year too many, and clubs can only have so much patience.
  3. I seriously doubt St Kilda would trade Armitage. The guy has talent and was picked for the finals, so Armitage can't blame lack of opportunity. I would however take the trade in a heartbeat.
  4. I can honestly see us finishing 0-22 next year if that trade went ahead. I'd want a border-line Richmond player with potential in return.
  5. I reckon quite the opposite Mousey. If we selected those 3 all year, it would suggest to me that the club would have been doing all they could in trying to win 6-8 games and finishing 12th or 13th. By not playing the 3 each week suggests to me that youth was more important than winning games of footy, and at this stage it seems the right decision.
  6. What the hell happened here? A disgraceful finale for Yze, White and Holland - that's left a bitter taste in my mouth. Did we tank, as we still could've overtaken West Coast? Are Richmond really an 80 point better side? Or are we just that a bad a footy side that an 80 point thumping is par for the course for the Demons under Bailey? Thoughts?
  7. Try and trade him for Adam Thompson, Brent Reilly or even Greg Bentley. One of 2008's disapointments. Although to his credit he did improve the last 6 weeks.
  8. Wasn't the great Craig Cameron responsible for list management and contract negotiations? HA HA poor old Richmond signed this guy up as their head of football
  9. Is it possible to lose some of your ability after missing 38 out of 44 games?
  10. Has kicked 3 goals against Melbourne on 2 occasions. Lets go for him, and hope he'll be playing senior footy by round 16 next year.
  11. I'll eat humble pie on this one. Thought he was gone at the end of 2006, and was a list clogger. Should be starting 22 next year. However, I wouldn't mind him packaged into a possible Warnock deal.
  12. Yeah we're in a youth policy hense we can't entertain any A-Grade quality
  13. Is it true that without the injury query, Grimes would've been a top 6 selection in the draft? Ironic that the week TJ got dropped from Brisbane, Grimes made his debut. Apart from getting 12 touches on debut, how did he look against Richmond?
  14. Oops. I actually was referring to next years team. My bad.
  15. ^^^ Agree in that Bartram shouldn't be there. His skills generally were un-AFL like at times this year. Although we need a negator or 2 in the side.
  16. Could be an option for the rookie list.
  17. I actually reckon that lineup may win us a game or 2 next year. We look so much more competetive with McLean and Davey. Dunn, Moloney, Rivers and Martin could easily come up plus Petterd, Maric and Grimes are wating in the wings. Injury will determine how many games we win next year.
  18. Was really excited about this guy when he debuted against Sydney in 2007. Infact it was one of the better debuts I've seen in recent years. Had the courage to take Barry Hall on, got 21 touches and a nice goal. I remember the channel 10 commentators raving about him. Then backed it up with a 14 mark performance the next week against Port to win a NAB nomination. Impressive stuff! And then the MFC injury/bad luck curse struck him. Sad thing is if he has another injury plagued year or struggles to get a game, who knows what will happen to him. Important year for Petterd. While his best position is half back, I'm impressed that he knows where the goals are and kicked his 3 and 4 goal bags for Sandy and did kick goals for the MFC in his first year. One player who I REALLY hope steps up next year and beyond.
  19. Good trade bait IMO. Not a great forward. Not a great midfielder/tagger. And why was he dropped for round 22? Was good midway through the year when he held Foley, Cooney and Goodes, but didn't hear anything complimentary about him since round 15.
  20. Was a joy to watch between 98 and 06. One of my fav players and would've certainly been a player that the opposition fans would've been wary of each week. Yze was good enough to play 22 games this year, but the club was more interested in youth than playing a player on 350-400K a year.
  21. I usually take Nudge's posts like a grain of salt, however I too have heard the Bentley rumour.
  22. 17) Classy midfielder with impeccable kicking skills 19) Ruckman and/or key forward
  23. Wow thats a lot of praise for demonland's most criticised player of 2008. Yes McGregor may not be the answer, but I feel a trade of some sort may be beneficial for both parties. Remember Adelaide rate Bell so may offer an attractive package.
  24. How about Bell for Greg Bentley. 21 games and he's under 23.
  25. We need another forward in addition to Robbo to help us average more than 38 points per match next year. Watts won't be the answer for next year.
