Awesome. Looking forward to another loss by under a goal down there.

James Harmes Signs for 5 Years
That was a disgraceful assessment for a player that's a duel top 5 B&F place getter and was near BOG in a final. That Buckenara rated him below one of the Wagner's tells me all I need to know about his footy knowledge.

James Harmes Signs for 5 Years
Exellent re-signing. Putting together an excellent career given he was picked up in the rookie draft.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Knowing us, we'll say thanks but no thanks. Then St Kilda snaps him up and he kicks 30 goals playing wing/HFF.

2020 AFL Fixture
So much for the soft draw we were hanging our hats on. Going to be very difficult to avoid 0-2 with WC and GWS on the menu to start with. Although you'd imagine there will be a block or 2 in the season when the fixture eases off for us.

2020 AFL Fixture
Confirmed and unconfirmed round 2 matchups: Sydney V Essendon (Friday night SCG) (confirmed) Carlton V Collingwood Brisbane V North (Gabba) Fremantle V Port Adel V V GWS V Adelaide V West Coast My tip for round 2 is Hawthorn, GWS, GC or Bulldogs at the G rd 2.

Friday Night 2020 (Demonland Lotto)
Thinking 0 other Friday nights and one ho-hum Thursday night late June game against Port over there.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Sam McClure on his SEN show last night reckons Sydney are the club house leaders. They’ve already done a medical and Buddy and Co have wined and dined him. Hope he’s wrong.
-
2020 AFL Fixture
I really hope we have a mediocre round 2 opponent at the G, if things go south vs WC.
-
2020 AFL Fixture
After process of elimination with respect to confirmed and unconfirmed leaks, I reckon we're playing GC at Metricon round 1.

2020 AFL Fixture
In other fixture news: â– Melbourne will head interstate for the first game of the season.
-
2020 AFL Fixture
^^ Confirmation we're heading interstate. Have a feeling we're opening the season against Port at Adelaide Oval, or perhaps GC at Metricon.

2020 AFL Fixture
In fairness I don't think we've had a Sunday twilight in Melbourne since 2015 when we lost to St Kilda in the last second at Etihad. We certainly haven't had one in the last 2 years. Or do you also include the 3:20 games in that bracket?

I think Edmund said Geelong gave him a medical.

2020 AFL Fixture
1998 Vs Freo. We as fans are in no position to complain if it happens. Port, GC and GWS would be the likely destinations. There's a rumour WC are hosting Adelaide round 1.

2020 AFL Fixture
Good.

Marsh Community Series
Certainly could be. Or it could be 19 degrees per 2017 vs Carlton at Casey. You just never know with Melb’s weather. About as predictable year to year as it’s footy side.
-
Marsh Community Series
Yeah good point. last year they bunched all the JLT games into just 2 weeks and they stupidly gave us a 6 day break coming off a 40 degree day in Shepparton. Nice to have a 2 week break between games.

Friday Night 2020 (Demonland Lotto)
Going with 8. Starting with a round 1 Friday night blockbuster against the Suns at the G.

2020 AFL Fixture
Got a feeling it will be GC or Port away week 1.

2020 AFL Fixture
We’re well overdue for a round 1 interstate game this year. We haven’t travelled in the season opener since 1998. I’m tipping GC, WC or Port interstate round 1. I will laugh and cry at the same time if we’re the away side in Darwin later in the year.

Joel Smith Puts Luckless Year Behind Him
Kicked 4 against Brisbane and 2 against Richmond in week 1 of the JLT. In an ideal world he slips under the radar behind T Mac, Weed and Fritsch, gets the oppo’s 3rd or 4th defender and jags a sneaky 30 for the year.

2019 Player Reviews: #33 Oskar Baker
Probably starts the year at Casey, but as we found out the hard way this year, it's always good to have a surplus of options.
