Can’t think of any other time Essendon have broken the rules...
-
I actually think the other way around. North V Dons should be entertaining while Eagles will likely strangle Port to a very low score in wet conditions.
-
Are you proposing we are a better side than Collingwood? That day was symbolic for the Pies. A BOG average side, who we had the wood over for 4 straight games, finally broke the shackles and showed how talented a side they are and haven’t looked back.

Round 23 2017 - the day the Collingwood footy club went past the MFC.
-
I also wanted Scully at the time when the speculation began to circulate that GWS were willing to offload him for a ham sandwich. I'd be concerned with our list management if we didn't at least consider Scully despite his injury concerns. We lacked outside classy wingers last year and our only real outside run this year is a good VFL player in Billy Stretch. Too many people around here were stuck in 2011 and couldn't move forward.
-
Possibility he returns via the Casey curtain raiser at the G according to Mark Stevens. Then back in the side V's Richmond. I think the club may have learnt their lesson from rushing back under cooked players such as Viney, Jones, Melksham and KK.

Melbourne VIC Saturday 4:00 pm Partly Cloudy 28 Is the above cause for concern given we're far from the fittest side going around?
-
$650K is a good bit of kanga for a 20 goal a year key forward.
-
We shouldn't be favourites at all. What have we done this year to deserve favoritism? Sometimes I can't work out how the bookies set the odds.
-
I find the Marvel stadium tenants of North, Dogs and Saints do not really turn up to our MCG home games, so 34K is pretty realistic.
-
I couldn't help but laugh at that comment.

Lever to make his return on Queens Birthday?
-
And it probably didn't help that we kicked the first 3 goals of the game. From that point the players probably saw it as a percentage booster.
-
Except for the stat that says they're 3-1.
-
Will certainly be our first scalp of the year if we can get over St Kilda. Saw them live today and they’re a quality footy side. Anyone who disagrees is stuck in 2018.

Who was the poster who said Frost was poor? Thought he did a great job on Buddy and used his pace to advantage at times. Only stuffed up twice, but I’m pretty sure most of the other players stuffed up at least twice. I’m not a big fan but as was proven late last year, if you give him some continuity of games, he can be quite serviceable.
-
I like Bruce but I’ve been disappointed he hasn’t gone with his favourite line so far this year: ”you just feel that if *insert club* gets the next goal there back in this, DON’T YOU?” And he can’t pronounce Salem properly to save himself.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MARTY HORE
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Bruce Mc loved him on the telecast. -
Excellent last quarter. His 52 metre goal was a massive steadier. His set shots for goal have become elite.

St Kilda will be a tough assignment and they exposed us for pace last year as the large expanses of the G. A win of any sorts would be fantastic in the scheme of things. However, if we managed to win by 5 goals we'd be 2-3 with a percentage of 85%. Last year after round 5 we were 2-3 with a percentage of 88%. No more than 2 changes. In - Lewis Jetta Out - One of the Wagners, O Mac (if concussed)
-
Why is Jetta already cooked by round 4? I'll answer my own question, he was in rehab until the new year. It's going to be the story of the season sadly.

Doesn't surprise me. Most players get up the following week with non-serious ankle injuries

Dustin Martin suspension downgraded to one week
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Sydee's topic in Melbourne Demons
At least by Martin playing against Sydney there's a 1% chance he'll re-offend and cop another suspension or get injured, and miss Anzac Eve. Clutching at the shortest straw possible.... -
Hopefully that is offset/mitigated by Sydney's 5 day break.
