THE RUN HOME 2020
Good point. I think our record in final round games since 2006 is something like 2-12. Iād imagine our record in second last round games is just as bad.

THE RUN HOME 2020
Saints could easily lose to WC. Although youād imagine if GWS somehow lose to us, they wonāt bother showing up in rd 18 to St Kilda. Bulldogs being scheduled to play Freo in Cairns is a mini bonus. That venue appears to be a bit of a āBermuda Triangleā.

Lewis should stick to stealing car seat belt buckles.

NON MFC: Round 16
Great. The heart ache continues for one more week. I assumed that last night we wouldāve been put out our misery. GWS got arrogant at selection and will probably have a far stronger side on Saturday.

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
I can't see it happening but hopefully GC put in one of their early season like performances and knock off the Pies. That would help us no end in our pursuit of getting in with 9 wins. It's highly possible that St Kilda loses both games and we make up the required percentage provided our one loss isn't a belting. St Kilda's close win yesterday was almost like a win for us. GWS simply won't lose to Adelaide and the Dogs cant lose to Hawthorn or Freo. Beveridge is too good a coach to allow a slip up of that magnitude. The Dogs winning last night really did reduce our options in getting in with 9 wins.

Agree with this. I can't see literally one AFL coach getting the sack this year because of COVID. Furthermore, Goodwin has won too many games this year to be in the sacking territory. However, if we miss final next year I'd say Goodwin, his assistants and Mahoney will all be gone. Can see a massive overhaul and an admission that Goodwin was a failure of a hiring. 1 finals series out of 5 years is a failure. To suggest otherwise would be akin to putting lipstick on a pig.

Others may differ but I liked this finals win better than the Hawthorn one.

NON MFC: Round 16
Yep, every result went against us this week. I reckon Dogs will take St Kildaās spot in the finals. Dogs have a laughable last 2 games while St Kilda have GWS and West Coast.

NON MFC: Round 16
It seems that literally every result is going against us since our shocking loss to Sydney. Getting what we deserve. The dogs winning absolutely ends any hope of us making the finals with 9 wins.

Christian Petracca's 100th Game
Congrats and has been a joy to watch this year. Hopefully his 200th wonāt be played in a QLD hub.

NON MFC: Round 16
We could possibly make it with 9 wins if the Saints have a couple of solid losses against quality sides and the Dogs lose tonight. St Kilda are actually vulnerable given their tough run home.

NON MFC: Round 16
Those late 2 St Kilda goals were very costly. The only way weāre playing finals is if we can chase down St Kildaās percentage assuming they lose their last 2 games, and the Dogs lose tonight.

NON MFC: Round 16
Hawks 19-2. Would be a dream result if this holds up, but doubt it will.

Fox Footy Analysis Dermot, King, Robbo MfC DNA
I liked the bit where Slobbo urged us to give L Hodge a call over the next couple of months.

NON MFC: Round 16
Is it just me or is scheduling just the one game of footy on a Saturday, and that one game being 1st v 17th is woefully crap scheduling by the AFL.

Fritsch will get dropped. What a garbage response after getting disciplined the week before.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Sydney
Can someone explain to me why Sydney have played absolutely brilliantly against us 2 years in a row, despite being a bottom 4 side with bugger all to play for in both years. We were dog diarrhoea yesterday but Iām giving all the credit to Sydney. They attacked us from minute 1 when they ran down Salem after Petracca stupidly handed him the hot potato. What did Sydney have to gain out of yesterday aside from a bit of pride and the loss of a top 3 draft pick? I donāt get it?

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
Just checked the weather and itās going to be just as windy for this game as it was yesterday. Lets hope we can adapt to the conditions for once.
