  1. Deserves some luck on the injury front. Wouldn’t surprise me if he plays most games next year.
  2. Hunt did play against Freo.
  3. Did we go any better in 1982?
  4. Happy with this. If he can somehow bottle that 4 goal game late in the year....
  5. Can remember this guy tearing us up last year with a 4 goal performance...only to find out after the game that he tore a hammy and played on 1 leg just to further rub salt into our wounds.
  6. Might be the only way of getting him to the club?
  7. Really hoping his 2020 season was a pure write off due to injuries and personal matters rather than a natural decline in his football. The fact that his goal tally was less than his games tally is a little concerning.
  8. He averages 1.9 goals a game at Hobart which is below his career average of 2.2
  9. Brown averages 2.6 goals a game at Marvel and 2.1 at the MCG. However he's only played at the MCG 10 times over about 6 seasons which is a low sample space for a Victorian team. Has kicked 12 goals against us in four games at the MCG including a bag of 5 and a bag of 4. He actually made his debut against us in 2014 at the MCG for 1 goal.
  10. North supporters on Bigfooty demanding our future first rounder or current and future second rounder for Brown.
  11. I hope the club isn’t getting carried away by a couple of nice goals by Baker in the GWS game. He didn’t play particularly well in the Freo and Essendon games. They need to chase a proven winger such as Polec or Phillips to be our starting winger next year and retain Baker as depth. I agree that they should keep Tomlinson as a defender rather than winger next year as he was solid and reliable when he played down back.
  12. Can't argue with any of that however Frost played well for Hawthorn this year and Kent played finals for St Kilda as well getting near BOG against us in an early 2019 game. Time will tell if both players carve out good careers at their next clubs.
  13. His on-field performances this year speaks to the veracity of those claims.
  14. Josh Thomas biggest goal kicking season haul at Collingwood - 38 Ben Kennedy biggest goal kicking season haul at Collingwood - 9 Pretty sure Thomas is an upgrade on Kennedy and has kicked a bag of 5 goals once and a bag of 4 twice.
  15. We certainly have an opening on the wing. Particularly for someone that once kicked 15 goals in a year - which doesn't sound like much but Langdon only kicked 2 this year despite a very good season.
  16. Meh - do we really want to give a 3 year contract to a 32 year old that missed half the year due to injury. I'd like him but he might have hit the point of his career where he spends more time off the field then on it. Next.
  17. No chance they have been behaving better than us. You only have to look at videos that have emerged throughout the year of pubs, clubs and other events going off in NSW, QLD and SA as if there was no such thing as COVID. But they'll be quick to point out VIC people's poor and slack attitude to COVID when it's actually due to luck and good/bad management by the state governments. Would love nothing more than to be at the G in round 1 supporting the boys on a beautiful March afternoon and then celebrating a win, after such a lousy footy year in 2020.
  18. Hopefully it will be 40-50K by round 1 or 2 next year so if we’re a playing a low- mid tier VIC side or an interstate side, nobody misses out.
  19. It would be one of the great trade steals of all time if we can get a first rounder for a ruckman we don’t really need and a player that has barely fired a shot in 25 months - and clearing salary cap.
  20. If you like long kicks you'll like this bloke. A rich man's Paul Seedsman.
  21. I don't recall him specifically stinking it up against us earlier in the year but I'll take your word for it. I do recall him ripping it up against Richmond in round 3 on his way to 3 brownlow votes.
  22. Shouldn’t be played on talls. James Stewart from Essendon absolutely destroyed him in the final round. Might be more suited to the Papley’s of the league where he can use his pace and athleticism (but certainly not his footy smarts). Actually did ok on Papley from memory.
  23. Now the St Kilda are probably out of the race, it would be interesting to see who else is in the market. I've heard Essendon could be in the race and possibly Collingwood but I doubt they'll get him if Miocheck costs them a fair bit.
  24. Fair to say the Dogs supporters are less than enthused about the 3 year contract For Hannan. Infact some haven’t even heard of him.
  25. Yeah O Mac was so poor in that game they had to send him to full forward just to stay out of the way. (Mind you he had a few mates that day)
