TRAINING: Monday 1st April 2024
I have a feeling Trac and Clarry are both playing with one hand tied behind their back(s). In the Hawthorn game Trac was in visible discomfort with one of his hands and it was the one he ran 100m to punch the ball through for aa point with

2024 Injury List
I wrote in the post match thread he's my favourite demon ever but i wanted him subbed off because he was only clearly playing with one hand until he just did what he does in the last quater. He wasn't right.

Rising Star Nomination for The Duke?
It's not often i diagree with you Jaded but i don't think Windsor taking the other wing is contributing to Landon's return to form. Langdon is covering ground again at an elite level, he is everywhere' it doesn't matter who's on the other wing. I also don't think Windsor hunting his own ball is why he is doing well. He reads the play well and knows how to run into the damaging spots and has explosive pace when he recieves it there. It's not a matter of the team trusting Windsor it's Windsor backing himself more often and when he does watch out.

The ANB Appreciation Thread
This. He has always been rated extremely highly by the club for his running patterns and capacity. Alot of his KPI's have been excellent for a years but his fumbles in key moments have cost us occasionally. This season, not just last night, he just seems to be cleaner, sharper and more confident. He was a key role player in our 2021 premiership but i think he is integral to our chances this year. Keeps playing like this and we have another elite A grade player in our arsenal.

A FORK IN THE HAWK by George on the Outer
I'll give a tip to all the Demonland punters. If any opposition put a hard tag on Clarry or Trac bet on the other one for everying you can get on them They both go unselfish, drag a player away from the ball and let the other one do it all. It happens everytime. We are stronger when one of them gets a hard tag.

CASEY: Rd 01 vs Box Hill
I'm one of the rare people who love Kozzie flying for hangers and i would have loved Oliver to kick the goal against the bulldogs instead of passing to JVR but you need to know your place and function. I don't think Kolt lacks confidence or instinct but he needs to learn his role to earn a spot in the side and get a liscence

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
Van Rooyen - ruckmen or forward? Petty - Adelaide offered unders Goodwin - get around him

My 3 word player analysis V Hawthorn
That was right in front of me and i had perfect real time view. I will hate anyone for life if they wrong a Melbourne player. May was flying back like the clappers at an angle courageously, Chol had every right to do what he did.

Targeting Max
It's pretty clear the roadmap to beat Melbourne this year has been paved and it's bump, block and harass Gawn at every opportunity. In 2021 when we were at the peak of our powers if Oliver or Petracca were being tagged they would strategically just let the other one get it. We were making a mockery of defencive midfields. How do we protect Gawn away from the ball? Our season depends on it.

POSTGAME: Opening Round vs Sydney
I've always backed Goodwin and never written a negative thing about him. I think the game plan works as evidence by our continual top 4 finishes BUT if he doesn't find a way to support Gawn getting smashed off the ball my support stops. One game i can forgive but if it becomes a trend Goodwin has to go. Greasy conditions didn't suit Gawn but the rosdmap to beat Melbourne this year was well and truly written. Demonlanders don't think Laurie has a standout strength to make it. He is not big, he is not fast, he is not a penetrating kick etc.. I think (hope) his strength is being an elite link player. When he is involved in a chain i see it time and time again he makes the right decision and nails the handball. Watch Widsors goal against Carlton in the prac match. He will always look bad when our midfield is loosing and we are not creating chains moving forwards. In a team that normally dominates inside 50's i think he has a place. Oliver - used to be maligned for handballing too much now its because he just bombs it. The greatest demon of them all making the greatest comeback, lets get around him

Where will the Dees finish after round 24?
Top 2 Our midfield will still be the best contested. Our backline has an aging May who is still close to peak but others around him improving. Our forward line has a couple of need based recruits that can only improve us. Alot comes down to Max but i'll back in the only bloke who can captain us to a premiership in 50 years.
