The thing I love most besides watching it. It adds to to our perceived invincibility. Other teams must be wondering how do you stop that machine. We are at a point where I am not in the least concerned about us drinking our own bath water.

I have a mate who is an AFL umpire and I gave him a gentle ribbing and said the dees would have won more than 15 straight if it wasn't for the umpires. He opened up about it and said their training hours have been halved for them They can no longer train in Carlton which had the appropriate facilities and they need to train at Marvel where they are not allowed on the turf and are made to just stay on the Astro outside the boundary line. I'm often critical of the umpires but they have to make split second decisions, unlike the MRP who have the opportunity to watch as many replays as they want but are still inconsistent. From what I understand there a number of umpires retiring at the end of the year and the AFL is panicking and hence bought in you can't throw up your arms rule if you disagree with a free kick. Pretending they care.

Twilight Grand final looks like being announced today. I'm a traditionalist and like the Saturday afternoon. But I must say we have never lost a Twilight GF and nobody else has ever won one.

I tried to multi bet the top 8 into each other and the TAB wouldn't let me. Said it was related. It's not like betting on Fritch kicking 6 into Melbourne winning. It seems seperate to me.

Thanks for such a considered response. The reason I bought up Bernie Vince is because he bought in and his family bought in. I've never read anything about Lamumba's family coming to watch our games while he was playing. Lamumba seems to me a culture killer. I hate Buckley but agree if you are going to drop recordings do them in full. Don't just cut them to suit yourself

Lamumba wasn't playing with a system stacked against him He played as a crowd favourite at Collingwood HE came to Melbourne and we embraced him. Can anyone imagine Bernie Vince getting up on the best and fairest night and declaring he was a prince. It simply wouldn't happen

Lumumber has the right right to sue and Collingwood has the right to presumption of innocence. I hate Collingwood so happy for them to cop a massive whack if these allegations stand up. I'd go in with Toby Bedford and drop Wied. Not like for like but I I don't mind changing the structure for our advantage. Bedford is more likely to kick goals and offers more defensive pressure.
