  1. Why? I thought he had a good year, Hawthorn would be poked without him.
  2. No joke http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/102428/default.aspx but they are.......
  3. Wonna - Did a hamstring. Rivers - kicking turnovers, goals. Garland - went off injured (came back but no good)
  4. Wouldn't be a miracle, Collingwood have the grass staggers bad... 20 years of mind games will come back to haunt them. Same for St Kilda. Adelaide show in successive weeks what to do to those two. Geelong v Bulldogs, might actually be a decent grand final, otherwise we're up for a snorefest.
  5. Don't see why you are comparing Mckinley with Johnson. However that's beside the point. McKinley is 184cm tall. Not tall enough to play tall, not small or quick enough for small. Schulz is 193cm tall as an example.
  6. I watch every game mate. Even went to Perth last year to watch us play them he's kicked 16 goals 15 in 10 games this year. averaged 10 disposals, dropped after the collingwood game. We have 10 guys who could play in the forward half better than him already His kicking style is terrible. He kicks with a very high ball toss and his arm to foot movement is too quick, therefore spraying it to all and sundry, even in the warm-up to games. NO THANKS
  7. Yeah sort of like McKinley, but someone who can kick the balls and win some hard ones around the ground. The guy is an A grade dud. If I hear McKinley's name brought up again in trade rumors or discussion I reckon I'll headbutt the ranch slider
  8. Incredibly predictable, which is a good thing. Better than all the Hawks changes. Smash em!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. I'd give the job to Bruce. He's proven to be the best run with player we have at the moment. Probably the best "footy smarts" for the role on Hodge, might just be a little on the short side. Definitely start with Bruce though
  10. Anybody who thinks Miller comes in for Watts........ have a look at Watt's last quarter. The kick across the ground to end up in a Brad Green goal, and the kick to Dunn who was left unmarked in the goal square after a great faked kick. There is no way Miller makes either play. The kid has vision. and our vision is the future. NO CHANGE (Scully out, ummmmmm no.)
  11. On SEN during the week they said that Barassi was calling for it 30 years ago
  12. Did anybody see that? In the Geelong game, that was clearly a goal. 100% no doubt, not even close Maybe replays are on the cards, you just have to get this right. Someone is going to lose an important game one day on one of these The Channel 10 team are going off their block at the bloke and too right
  13. I upgraded us all to a reserved seat for free this weekend, per the email sent to us. But it was 3 separate emails, and then my wife had to ring and do her's separate by phone because they didn't have her email for some reason. Do we get to sit together? Or was this a complete waste of time because with a 3 and 5 year old we all have to sit together.
  14. Probably because the second half it was wet, really wet for patches and our disposal was terrible, but understandable given the conditions. It was way worse in person than it looked on tv. Hard to have an influence when you lead one way and the ball goes 20m the other. Jurrah was chasing, but was coming from a long, long way away a lot of the time. Our forward set up got lost a lot in the second half. I looked down and few times and we would have 2 players in the forward line and they were weird combos like Dunn and Jones.... WTF?
  15. \ Top level of the olympic stand near the disabled seats there was nobody collecting.
  16. I know you're joking but watching Watts after the game there is no way he's going anywhere. Did you see him give his ball to the kid in the crowd? Delivered it and then talked and talked and talked until his team mates ran around to catch up, then doubled back to high five more of the crowd. I thought it was fantastic.
  17. I had a running arguement with one at our game against them. I usually start out pretty well controlled and lose it about 1/2 way through the 4th quarter, well this idiot had me going off my tree about 10 minutes in. Swearing around my kids, spilling beer all over the place and just being an idiot. When they got a roll on the 3rd, he rose to another level and at three quarter time got another beer turns around to me and says "Jack Watts is the worst number 1 pick in history isn't he?" I just about punched him in the nuts. I made mention that he doesn't watch the game very well and left it at that. Suffice to say, he was gone about 10 in the 4th which [censored] me off a bit. I wanted to let rip...........
  18. No Saturday afternoon games in the NRL anymore. Because they believe they would get nobody to the timeslot. More importantly, nobody on TV would watch it. Saturday afternoon isn't the sparkling timeslot it once was.
  19. Once again a [censored] article from the little paper. 1. There will be no discussion on the anti siphoning list until after the election so how can they put that they will show the games live on their second channel? 2.Ten HD doesn't exist....... It's One HD doofus. 3. Don't see the problem pushing it out an hour really. Then they can show it live, which is what everybody wants Been planning this "article" for weeks probably and just waiting for enough column space to run it. Nothing new, just dribble.
  20. I don't agree with the selection either. I think he's important to team structure on a high half foward slash wing. As a linkman if you will. I know Dunn can play this role too, but will they? Time will tell
  21. I predict my wife will go to New Zealand for the weekend allowing myself to dead set off my rocker and let loose all that pent up frustration from the top level of the Ponsford Stand, without someone scowling at me the whole match. I also predict Jurrah to take mark of the year.
  22. I can't see how you would drop Bennell. Doesn't look like he does much on tv, but she sure does lots off the ball. When he gets it something usually happens. I'd swap captains but that would never happen. Trengove back in if he's fit, and Mcdonald (who knows) for Jones and Moloney other than that, no change
  23. First didn't hurt, my grandma would have slotted that, the second was an accident off his shin as he tried to get out of the way.
