I actually think the fact that Rowell and Anderson Both come from the Chargers and are close mates has pushed this decision over the line. The AFL want players to stay up there and this is their best chance to do so. I truly believe if the top 2 prospects were from different states, the decision would be different. Heard the news before it was released to the media and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since..truly devastating. Danny was one of the good guys. Has hit home hard for me and I’m not entirely sure why...perhaps because he has three daughters and myself two, but I feel genuinely devastated for his wife and girls. No matter how someone appears overtly on the surface, we never really know how they are feeling inside. RIP Spud, I have always admired you, my condolences to your family and close friends.
