Brad Green and the current board
This is my concern. Smith has been silent. No quote claiming Caro’s stories are bs, no defence of the recent decisions from Green/board, no story stating he is, in actual fact, joining on date ‘x’. Nothing. I worry he might not be coming on board at all. And if he is, why is he letting this narrative so easily destabilise the world he will take over?

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
As the boys said on the pod, if we hadn’t had a conversation with anyone prior to sacking Goody they’d be accusing us of not having our ducks in a row. I reckon corners of the media are dirty they weren’t onto this much earlier and now they’re just spraying bullets.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Warms the heart Possibly more to play out but if I was a betting person I’d say they’ve already agreed commercials and a date to announce it (prelim final week).

We played our best footy in the era of Covid top-ups- Roosy's roost
Maybe a re-brand for the footy club is the answer? I know a guy- Roosy's roost
Firstly, shame on you for making me read a Jon Ralph article. That bloke hurts my eyeballs and earballs in equal amounts. Secondly, it is Jon Ralph.- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
- Roosy's roost
A bit harsh - they are on record as saying they think list needs a different voice and it is rumoured the board still think we have a finals list. Roos saying we can win flag doesn’t make it true.- Brad Green and the current board
Had a quiet chuckle when she said “it was also reported on 3AW rumour files”… lolll- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Caro doing her best to whip up some nasty headwinds along the path too- PODCAST: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Bugger. I was desperate to hear what Binman is going to wear to his first board meeting- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
My guess is that terms are already broadly agreed and have been so for some time. It’s a guess before people start jumping down my throat!- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Who is to say they haven’t had a first round of discussions but we just don’t know about them? I understand some don’t trust the club and want full transparency BUT it is naive to think that things like discussions/interviews aren’t happening (or have happened a long time ago) behind closed doors- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Just because Caroline Wilson hasn’t reported that a panel has been formed which includes a ‘respected ex player’ doesn’t mean a ‘process’ hasn’t occurred /is underway. Just like player punch-ons at steak restaurants, some things are best kept under wraps.- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The ‘show me the process’ crew don’t seem to understand that it is near impossible to get an quality experienced coach to get involved in any public process, look at Ross Lyon with Carlton. Being a declared starter in a public process (where they are not guaranteed the gig) is too risky to their reputation, they look out of touch if they fail. I reckon Horse and Simmo have interest in coaching next year but going with the ‘I’m happy doing what I’m doing’ line to preserve their reputations whilst they wait for a phone call in the future.- Knowing how to win
Love Max but I think Demonland (and the footy world) overrate his impact in those close games, partly because some of his marks ‘look great’. I can recall games where he’s dropped back in the hole and helped us win, that’s what has built this reputation. I’ve also seen games where he has tried to be a hero and made costly mistakes. I think our close-game issue is less about ‘a losing culture’ and more about the young guys/bottom half of the team relying too heavily on our stars and our stars don’t have the greatest execution in crucial moments. You end up with too many ‘hero’ moments that occasionally come off but more often than not bring us down. We need to better plan , coach and execute to plan across the team in those moments. Fly has done that pretty well at Lolingwood.- Knowing how to win

The correlation between the use of the word ‘process’ and people who just dislike Nathan Buckley (mostly for clueless reasons) is overwhelming.- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
*tricky- Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Or maybe Oliver just needed time to recover/get fit/ adapt. Such a trucker question for the new coach: dos Oliver go (with nothing in return) or stay? - Trade Targets
