  1. Time for a new logo!
  2. Once he hears from families of the players and /or clubs who they are going to… calculating Cal doesn’t like to stick his neck out too far
  3. Were we watching the same finals series? All I saw was small forwards dominate. Ah Chee and Lohmann kicked 8 between them on GF day. Sydney’s 3x talls had 6 marks between them.
  4. We’ll run out of bad cops at this rate
  5. he was head of football at Freo… doubt he would be looking at assistant coaching gigs
  6. 27 scrabble points. They should reserve the number.
  7. JT has a history of not being predictable and you’d hope he is holding his cards closer to his chest this year for that very reason. Cal Twomey always gets mail from the inside, it’ll be interesting to see if perhaps this year he is a little off given the possible pick-trading scenarios
  8. I have watched that game 8 trillion times and he was the catalyst to the momentum in the centre square. Politely (AND MASSIVELY) disagree
  9. I feel this way too. I don’t follow these kids play or watch them live but his form in those vfl games looked exceptional.
  10. More like how far has the Caulfield Cup fallen 😢
  11. Not sure what is more gobsmacking; that there is in fact an Oliver ‘family/camp’ or the fact they are angry at the club. He/they should be writing an apology to the club and its fans on a daily basis for the [censored] he put us through
  12. It was half tongue in cheek because there are clearly some elite footballers that followed him in that draft but it was the right decision for our list at the time and I believe contributed to a premiership
  13. That guy’s 3rd quarter in the 2021 grand final was worth pick 3
  14. Anyone watched Reid closely this year? He doesn’t seem to get talked about as much in that top 3 (in this forum and some other articles I’ve read) as his highlights reel and some of the write-ups I’ve read suggest he should… Is he our #5 if he slips? Good user, excellent decision maker, gets heaps of it, goal kicker…
  15. Except the talk is playing him high half forward
  16. Hope Lalor is there for us at 5…. JT is good at spotting good players but can’t think of many elite leaders we’ve brought in during his time and that is what we need to start banking
  17. Understand Richmond might seek to consolidate a bit but surely they’ll be looking to spread that bounty out over two drafts, not just improve their hand here.
  18. I think you’ll find we bend over whichever way is requested for almost everyone. I was stunned we had the intestinal fortitude to say no to Geelong for Clarry.
  19. Gutted Lamb didn’t push bringing him in in a straight swap for Schache
  20. Not high enough and too far away from opposition interceptors for my liking.
  21. Pulitzer-level stuff. Always remember that the AFL have chosen to put money into this skidmark’s pocket rather than invest it into our kids and the future of the game (grassroots footy is in disarray).
  22. I suspect he isn’t the sort of guy that is happy to continue to be ‘injury insurance’.. may also not be a great leader for the developing guys at Casey, I think he is just too competitive.
  23. Does your $1k-poorer mate know if Houston had to rip up his cover letter or did he just use white-out to change it?
  24. Flat as I’ve been in a long time. We all knew that was what happened but to hear it out of the mouth of an All Australian from another club was like a dagger. Dees needed to clear the joint out this off-season when the chance presented itself. Feel an inexperienced board (or at least president) was what stopped it happening. Sick feeling we’ll look back in 10 years and really regret the lack of actual change when it presented itself this offseason. edit: not lost on me that I was the one defending Pert recently and saying you can’t get rid of everyone at once….
