We pick Onley ahead of NHH and Greeves - why were those two rated so highly prior to the draft but ultimately overlooked by us (and all)? Looks like NHH didn’t go to anyone in the end.

We’ve got 3 developing talls on the list - only so many list spots we can occupy with that type of player.

I have a feeling that Farrow to Richmond (instead of Taylor) might be a top 10 surprise tomorrow.

Someone on here the other day said a recruiter they spoke to said that whilst he might turn out to be Joel Selwood, he also could turn out to be Devon Robertson.

His top 10-15 are normally pretty close. Can get a bit wonky from there though

You think a recruiter - who has watched these players play footy over the course of two seasons (some more) - changes their mind on the football ability and potential of a player between October & November? I don’t. I think orders might change based on what other clubs do. Which was my point.

I really don’t see that at all. Watts had a very fluent kicking style, Nairns’ looks very compact, oddly low ball drop. A bit jarring to my eye (hoping effective/efficient though). From the highlights I’ve seen he appeared to find himself in space in dangerous spots a lot, which was what Murphy Reid did week in week out this season.

Now we just need to slot him into our line up ala Murphy Reid at Freo last year

Nairn has just been added to the list of invitees for the first night of the draft. He’s coming to the Dees for sure 👏

It was a rhetorical question, I’m familiar with Cal’s articles and the sequence of the leading into the draft. Often if he thinks clubs are sniffing around a bolter (eg Robey) the player shoots up in his rankings so I was more scratching my head why Nairn was still outside top 20

Why would his view on their abilities change between October and November?? Surely there is an overlay of where he thinks they will land
