  1. I think he was insinuating JUH in the doghouse
  2. Just asked someone I know who is friendly with Jamarra and his only comment was ‘Clarry isn’t the only one who is in trouble’ 😦
  3. I don’t understand this ‘I’m cancelling my membership’ or even more so this ‘what other team should I barrack for’ chat… I get people are unhappy with our situation. I’m not thrilled either. But supporting teams is about riding the highs and lows regardless of the ferocity, volume and depth of the lows. Take yourself back to the evening of 25 September, 2021. The elation of that night had the years of Barry Prendergast, the post- Norm Smith years, the sad Robbie Flower years and the disappointment of the Daniher and Balme years all baked into it. If you’re going to disappear when we approach a LOW then frankly you don’t deserve to be involved in the highs when they come along…. I feel like I’m lecturing a bunch of 6 year olds so I’m going to stop now.
  4. Can anyone tell me who/which table he was sitting on at the Brownlow?? Saw all of the insta photos of him getting his haircut and posing with some bloke I’ve never seen who appeared to be his +1 but I never saw him on the Dees’ table and nor was there any account of him on Gawn/Lever/May/Viney accounts or the Dees’ account?!
  5. … so Brad needs to cut the head off the football department, the coaching staff and the admin (after the head of the board was recently cut off), leaving us with a completely inexperienced president? Righteo.
  6. Not convinced on that… I believe there are skeletons everywhere (that he is aware of) so it is in everyone’s best interest not to back Clayton into a corner but rather to quietly move on.
  7. I think that pick has been informally committed to Dogs for some time. Dogs want more though. If that deal falls through I’d imagine Smith will nominate for national draft and Geel will use that pick on him
  8. I would be surprised if he wasn’t consulted/ involved to a degree in the decision
  9. If only he were leaving for money: “please sir, can I have some more?”
  10. This is actually all bat**** crazy. After picking up the phone to Geelong knowing they had bugger to trade with AND they already had Bailey Smith in their sights, if Melbourne go “nah, we’re gonna keep him, we don’t like the look of what you’re offering” that would be the most outrageous, stupid and cruel (to Clarry) thing I’ve have ever witnessed in football. If we had a proper president Pert would get the flick in an instant.
  11. We’ll be lucky to get just the future first with only a low contribution on his salary. We’ll likely get the future first and be forced to pay an eye-watering chunk of his salary for years.
  12. ‘Cats say ball is in our court’… that’s the sort of thing you say when you’re offering something really [censored] to someone really desperate.
  13. It’ll be an interesting vibe all-round at the b&f!
  14. His body isn’t right, constantly injured. So no, far from ideal.
  15. Literally zero proof pert has leaked that. Sure it’s possible but don’t talk about it like it’s fact.
  16. Sorry, for clarity, I wrote the last bit. Edmund was only the first para
  17. More smoke is appearing it seems. Edmund: “It’s understood Oliver’s recent behaviour has again tested the patience of some teammates, while the club has been disappointed in some things he has not committed to.” I have spoken to one player (a few months ago) who has never really gotten over the events of last year. He suggested at least some of the other players were still dirty about tthe ‘preferential’ treatment he got ie if they did the same they would’ve been booted out the door.
  18. Freo give 16 get a contracted K Pickett? Pardon me? Cooney is genuinely a halfwit. How he is still making a buck from the media is mind blowing.
  19. Worth the listen. Sam in the camp of ‘I felt things were on track again’ l, Kane in the camp of ‘the damage is lingering’. Kane says a lot of over the top, inflammatory things and I’ve been very critical of him in the past but his view here is pretty balanced and I largely agree with him.
  20. I remember him from that draft but it is difficult to be seduced by a young kid who can’t earn his second contract at the club he has been with for the last 2 years… I’m not a huge Owies fan but at least the guy has kicked 60 goals at AFL level over the past two seasons
  21. Helps us land pick 12 from GC?
  22. This. We’re in the middle of an external review of our culture. It all adds up.
  23. You are putting a lot of words in my mouth. I just believe in supporting my club through thick and thin and get disappointed when others don’t do the same.
  24. The guy was sighted in all states of distress and undress in some very public places…. Keeping his issues quiet wasn’t a really a possibility
