Our more senior list players, and our up'n'coming list players. The now and the future under one roof, at the same time, and on the same list. I wonder if Hannan is doing his pre-xmas PreSeason now, in catch-up mode, with his chronic meniscus knee issue. I can see how shortening his season would be beneficial to him, each season.

This was nearly a week ago, at training. He's been to sessions since, I believe. I think its to be expected, that he will have little setbacks in his Re building of his lower legs, and legs generally. They will need to adapt, with the missing parts influencing/altering his walking/running.

That Buddy deal, ( although at the time, I was outraged that the Swans stole him from under GWS's noses ), has probably worked out to be a win/win for both sides. Marketing wise, for the Swans, as they maintained publicity, during rebuilding. And for GWS, who I believe Budd would have been the wrong choice of personality, for a young fledgling side, and club.

I think Hannan is always going to be a week to week proposition for us now, with his knee issue.

I imagine his lower legs will take quite some time to adjust and strengthen, now some bits have been removed. It will change almost everything in his lower legs, and all tissues will need to re-adjust.. Maybe it will be next year to see any real improvements.?

I like the overhead marking he brings us for around the front edge of the centre square. Of course, not to mention his running power. These to me are his advantages for us, and as you said, his marking around halfback as well, aiding us bringing the ball out. In these days of full ground pressure footy, imo marking the ball is the absolute pressure relief.
