  1. Congratulations Max. Show em the way.
  2. Develop the skills while he's young and learning. The ground ball skills, as well as his other attributes.
  3. Well that would be a welcome first.
  4. Well he's contracted now, until the end of 2020. I think we should wait til mid-season, and see, and the waiting might help Tracca to strive further. To prove to himself, let alone anyone else, just how far he can go. He might absolutely star, he might get bruised/hurt, and go into his shell. He might get injured, but he won't be going anywhere. He will be looking at a large & lengthy contract this time round, and it is one we should do our due diligence on, as we'll be having a few talented players coming up for contracts in the next 2 years. We need to get things right and not jump too soon. What if Josh Kelly becomes available or Zac Williams, through this season. Lets not spend all our bikkies before acceptances. These things need to be worked into our other contract commitments, leaving some room to chase other players.
  5. I don't think anyone would speak in terms like that. he hasn't been at his best in the past and 'Seems' to be maturing. Why do anything Pre 2020 season, that might alter the state of mind. I see no value in rushing the contract terms prior to June, 2020. Mid season break is the time, I reckon. We see how he's shaping, and he sees how the team is shaping up.
  6. Are we really that desperate that we need to rush in and sign before he has even played one H&A game in 2020. Just let him settle. Do you think we might loser him if he hasn't signed on by June.? I don't think he is going anywhere but to be in Red and Blue. Let him play, and get into a routine and see what his form really is, and then make the contract accordingly, at that time. We don't need to panic and rush these things.
  7. I hope they wait until at least Mid season. A new attitude needs time to settle down and become ingrained. Or it could just as easily go south again. Wait Melbourne, for Tracca's sake and ours. Let him settle his new found maturity, with some hunger to yet prove more to himself, and to us all.
  8. The left stage door. Exiting to the carpark. When he was twiddling his thumbs and whistling, instead of working. Today he is one of the top in the afl, due to a change of heart and head. See Petracca model 2020, and appears, to be similar.?
  9. We've beaten no-one yet, and its still Summer.
  10. I agree. It was a good busy start for him. Just misjudged the closing speed of some opposition, as he wayed up his options. Getting the ball to boot a little late.
  11. Dandenong in the VFA, with Frosty Miller up front. Melbourne jumper. It would be a good coup to align that side again around that area, with a twin training complex, also as a part of the Casey alignment. Just, not necessarily, out at Cranbourne.
  12. Also about to become a father for the first time, this year.? I think.

  14. The teams Northey coached had far more grit. They would fight out tough contests with the best of them. They could have used a tad more class across the field, but they were tough honest sides full of character and ability. IMO, they would have torn strips off the sides Robbo played in. Sean Wight would have licked his lips with Robbo, and SFebey would have taken good care of Yze. Who else.?
  15. why you snowflake.! ?
  16. Do we pick ours by the sounding of their names. Deakyn. Smith. Is he from Skefs.? Please, can we find some more mongrels out there with skills. And forget the christian scools.? Lets have some more names, that Captain Blood could not pronounce.
  17. Agreed DW. I don't think I mentioned Casey. Sandown could be an option for what your talkng about.? - - - - - - - Gosch's is the answer for our inner Melbourne home with Social club.
  18. Too graphically demanding on PC's. Too much large imagery. I do not like it either.
  19. What a waste of time that was, going to edies view. Port Melbourne could be underwater in 15 - 20 years time, just as it has been during the past 200 years, as a swamp.
  20. We still desperately need the inner Melbourne meeting point for final training hitouts, social gatherings media announcements, and pre & after games. Gosch's is the way forward and then down the track look to a new complex for midweek works, further along the track, as AFLW grows, and we see what is required.
  21. And Rosebud and Sorrento might just be all washed away, to the open Bass Straight. Allowing the full current 6 foot tidal flow which occurs outside the Heads, (+ any sea rise from now on) in & out of the Bay. Currently the bay only ever half fills and half empties. A 3 foot tidal difference, high to low. Everything would then change around Melbourne, and all facilities would want to be more than 3Mtrs above current high tide marks.
  22. Potential list Re ages, entering the 2023 AFL season. 32|Brown 31|Melks,Gawn-,May--,VdB-- 30|TMac-,Benne 29|Tomli,Hanna 28|Viney,JWagn, 27|Salem,Harme,Petra,Brays,Langd,Lever,Hore-,OMac-,Hunt-,Preus,Kolod,Neal-,Lockh,Smith 26|Frits 25|Olive,CWag-,Weide 24|Baker 23|Petty,Sparg,Chand 22|Niets,Bedfo,Bradt,Sparr,Dunkl,Jordo 21|Jacks,Picke,River Here, this shows what our list could look like come 3 years time. And so how we should look at using our players, to ready them for this time, which I think will be our best time to strike.
