Is Hustwaite playing for Casey related to Hustwaite playing AFL footy ?

West Coast picked up Mitchell from Hawthorn , Brisbane pick up Hodge , Collingwood and the Hawks pick up T.Mitchell all with a great deal of success.What I am saying we need to pick up an experience mid near the end of his career, one person comes to mind is Matt Couch from Adelaide . We also need a young quality mid plus others . We need to look at Bobby Hill's performance , I wonder why Kossie isn't more deadly ( more subdued ) perhaps playing him as a midfielder is not his forte.

I don't like Hird much , however if you want an assistant coach come senior coach he has the football smarts for that. I am not going to let past performances cloud my judgement. McVeigh and Dew are also worth consideration.

The Dees are the Greg Norman of football , chokers . We need to get rid of some players BB ,T.Mac, Harmes , Jordon ,Schache , Grundy the most expensive back up ruckman in afl history and Goody , the reserves coach ,Richardson,Pert that's for starters .I would include the fitness coach . This club makes me sick.

If we win ( I am sure ) Goody would remain as a good coach , otherwise he will be Bevo mark 2. Overall I don't think the Dees coaching staff have been creative. Example we have T.Mac and BB both forwards breaking down constantly in other word we get little value from them . We dump Tomlinson when he is playing well , when Petty comes back Tomlinson gets dropped. Then our coaching staff realises that Petty is a forward . We have a backman becoming a forward ,genius coaching. Petty,Fritta and Melk ( born again forward ) get injured . Smith makes the senior side as a non sub,plays forward , another genius idea (not the best however ,but due to injuries he does a Steven Bradbury). We could have tried Tomlinson and Turner up front whilst they we playing for Casey . We shouldn't worry about Schache as a senior player or as a forward , he has had his chances and as far as I am concerned he is another Weidman.

North and Freo will end in 18th and 15 th spot respectively , this improve our position of getting no.1 draft pick thou a long shot. What would we need to give up Pick 5, pick 15 and next years 1st rounder and a 2nd rounder for a Grundy deal. Our alternative would be get Caddy and Read

Read and Caddy would be a good fit.

Smith from memory this year payed forward without success. JVR needs to be coupled with an experience forward which can only be T.Mac. I not sure why some think that May does not have confidence in Smith and Tomlinson in defence.Tomlinson was doing a good job prior to getting injured, so what has changed? Smith's viability is going to be limited once Fritta returns. Smith should played as a forward for Casey a long time ago and taking in consideration that he was consistently getting injured. Grundy playing forward is a flop, Schache is also isn't the solution , why not play Tpmlinson Forward and Schache in defence via Casey.

Don't know why we didn't try Tomlinson up front as we has a shortage of tall forward. Perhaps the Dees will give Grundy another go in the seniors.

In Mac D / Schache (depending on reserves match) , Jefferson and Dunstan out Grundy , Smith and Jordan.

Cannot be considered a back up ruckman only. Gawn or and Grundy need to kick goals especially when Petty is not playing. I think Grundy will be there next year. Interesting Goodwin has stated that Grundy isn't going anywhere , wasn't the same said about Jackson !!!!!!

Grundy should make a return to the seniors , I think he has the X-factor. Smith based on past game disposals would find it hard to get a game however he should play.

When Fritta comes back he will probably cause Melksham to be on the I.C bench. J.Smith may end up getting dropped. Tomlinson or T.Mac will end up with Petty's defensive role. J.Smith needs to do a lot more especially when playing North. Much more disposals and score a few goals.

Prediction Tomlinson to kick 5 .J.Smith to play defence Dees to win by 29,39,49 ..... pts anything with a 9 in it.

The Dees had there mini slump by being 9 w 6 L . I did say prior to playing Brisbane we will not lose another match . We have Oliver , Fritta and a renewed and improved Grundy coming back.

Seemingly Casey is having a practice match on Sunday.Has a team been announced yet?
