Trade Targets
Tippa would be a great get. Not fussed about Devon Smith. Is there actually any bombers player happy at the moment?

Trade Targets
All our coin is sunk in TMac. He needs to be moved on somehow but there are no takers. I fear weβre stuck with him.

Brad Green on Board?
Her husband can give her a dig out with the twins i'm sure

Brad Green on Board?
Agree. No use being a Melbourne person if you know jack about footy. The best scenario is to have Melbourne people WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING β SEE YZE

Brad Green on Board?
How about trying Daisy as part of our coaching set-up at some stage. She obviously knows her stuff.

Gary Lyon 10 goal final, wow we need a forward badly
first time seeing this. Apart from the goals the delivery to Lyons was very good. If only we could provide that kind of service to our forwards today!

Yze is a Demon Again
Yze has applied for head coaching roles before, was effectively 2IC to Clarkson and has all the necessary coaching badges. It looks very much to me that Yze is being lined up for the top job. Perhaps Goodwin will come good but if he doesn't the club have a ready made replacement. Now i'm not sure Yze is the answer, i'd prefer an experienced hire if Goodwin is sacked but he's a good insurance policy and many more knowledgeable people than I who think he has the chops for the top job. Could turn out to be a very smart move by Pert.

Welcome to the MFC β Alyssa Bannan
Looks a great prospect and exactly what we need. Megan Cunningham has been an absolute warrior but she didnβt have the any real impact last year at all. Hopefully Alyssa can go straight into the team and provide a target for us straight away.

James Frawley Retires... And Starts Playing Again
Tough Crowd He gave his all in a dreadful team. Won an AA jacket. We got pick 3. Best of luck Chip.

Members Email from Gary Pert
We have the cash from the sale of the Leighoak club las year. After clearing debts we had approx $7m left over. Not sure how much we've had to dip into this to tide us over.

Members Email from Gary Pert
I may be wrong but it doesnβt appear that an external party is assisting with the review which makes me very sceptical about its value. Weβll see what eventuates but I expect to see some significant changes. Iβll be mightily disappointed if we get another whitewash like last year.

I think weβre all jumping at shadows. Take a few deep breaths and relax.

Dees Reviewing Senior Footy Department Positions
10 years in the job and only one finals appearance. He's had a good go at it but it time for a change. Not sure shunting Richo into the GM role as has been mentioned makes sense though.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Thereβll be plenty of competition for Brown. Heβll have no problems finding a new home. This bloke kicked 60 odd goals 3 years running and heβll be 28 next season. So what if heβs a lead into space forward. If thatβs the case then change the game plan to kick it into the space that he leads into! (I know, I know. our inside 50 delivery has to improve as well). He would straighten us up, take the pressure off Weid (whoβs a no 2 forward anyways) and allow Jackson to develop in his own time. The only reason heβs on the market is that North are having some sort of collective brain spasm. Nobody knows what North are trying to achieve including North themselves I suspect. Northβs inside 50 delivery this year was reminiscent of us in 2019. Absolutely putrid. Wayne Carey would have struggled to get his hands on it. Brownβs carried an injury this year as well so his reduced output is easily explained. We obviously need to do a thorough medical but if his fitness checks out we should try to bring him in.

Finals Week 1
I think they will beat Geelong as well but I think the party ends for them against the Lions. The lions will be hard to stop from here. They got the monkey off the back against Richmond and play at home. Huge advantage.

Finals Week 1
Nah. The pies wonβt win the flag from here. They finished 8th for a reason. They were exceptional last night but everything fell there way. Accuracy, output from Cox (doubtful that will repeat), free kick count. A couple of miracle goals. Zero expectation which always helps. They have plenty of travel ahead of them and have to beat 3 of Geelong, Lions and either Richmond or Port in the final. It canβt be done.

Josh Daicos
Daicos played very well last night. The pies have cap constraints so I donβt think its wishful thinking to have go. Canβt see it happening mind. Mihocek on the other hand could be gettable. Most underrated player in the league. Someone has to be squeezed out at the pies and it could well be him.

Yze is a Demon Again
If we did end up with Leppitsch and Yze and retain the rest of the top brass weβd have a very top heavy set-up. Iβd question Richoβs role. Bringing on experienced assistants would make his role redundant youβd think. Mahoney has to be skating on thin ice as well although Iβve no idea who might replace him and havenβt heard anything either. Looking forward to seeing what the outcome of this review is. Very interesting times indeed.
