  1. If he is to win an individual award i want it to be the Norm Smith. Means we'll in all likelihood have won the flag with him leading the charge. A flag and a Norm Smith would be fitting reward for him given his contribution for the last few years
  2. Delta won;t be put back in its box. Gotta get everyone vaxxed ASAP The age today reporting a stockpile of 6 million doses of Astra. Some could go to waste. What a monumental own goal.
  3. Can't believe how poor the Dogs were last night. Their form has fallen off a cliff I think there is more chance of the Eagles getting beaten by 100 points than winning the game. Overweight down hill skiers
  4. I think both teams will be going hard for the win. Our defence has a better chance of holding Hawkins, Cameron and Rohan than their defence has of holding BB, Fritsch and TMac Smith on Cameron a crucial match-up. If Joel can halve it we’ll win Dees by 25 points

If the GF is played in Adelaide so be it. Port are very beatable. They would have to deal with the pressure of expectation in front of their own fans and the home crowd energy can work against them as well. Go behind and the anxiety from the crowd can inhibit their performance Perhaps we could crowdfund a plan to get as many Crows supporters as possible into the game for free. They hate Port and would cheer us on I’m sure. Plus, we are a better team anyways. And Georgiadis is out (I feel for the kid, very good young player) Strong umpires essential though. Can’t be having any hometown favouritism ruining the game Btw some examples of home teams losing major soccer finals https://lastwordonsports.com/football/2021/07/09/england-beware-major-finals-home/
  6. Not ideal but i really don;t think we have much to fear from Port even if we play them in Adelaide Put a line through the doggies for the year. their form has deserted them at the worst possible time
  7. I think this is working out pretty well from our perspective. Port kicking themselves out of the game. doggies limping to an unconvincing win. I don't think we are looking at the premiers tonight
  8. Hard to believe these are 2 top 4 teams
  9. Doggies look horrible
  10. Neither side playing anything like finals footy We'll never have a better chance of winning than elusive flag than this year.
  11. Razor Ray takes no sheet
  12. Port are poor. My preference is a dogs win but i don't want Port to play them back into form either. I'd rather a hard fought battle
  13. Doggies form has tailed right off the last few weeks. Reckon Port will win tonight
  14. I hope the Doggies and Port knock lumps out of each other tonight
  15. I thought Smith did well last week but didn't think he'd hold his spot. Big show of faith from the selection committee. Hibbo on the outer for finals i reckon
  16. Trade Weid (his cards are marked by the looks of it), Petty move forward, Thommo resume his role in defence.
  17. I've booked marked your site. Great work Deesigner

If we have a choice of venue at any stage during finals my preferences are The G - Don’t care if crowds not allowed playing there provides a home ground advantage and best chance of winning. Winning is ultimately all I care about whether I’m in person to experience it or not. I'm aware the AFL will take this option of the table if crowds not allowed Adelaide Oval – as long as not playing the Power I think this a great option. Fantastic arena, travel is manageable Optus – this is the last place I’d want to play. I don’t like Perth, don’t like their premier and its too far and expensive to get to. Big No Other options – Gabba I’m fine with. Metricon ok as well. Not keen on Tassy

Will WA be vaxxed quicker than the rest of the country (maybe it will, i don;t know). If it won't and the locals want to keep the border closed anyways they may as well secede.
  20. BDA replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
McGowan reckons he'll keep border restrictions in place even when the WA population is fully vaxxed. There must be political rationale for doing so but there's no common sense. I think he's power drunk. He definitely can't be trusted. The bloke in charge in SA is another power junkie. Anastasia did a good job last year so why not the Gabba again this year if all else fails
  21. Basketball skills seem to transfer well to AFL. Hones and sharpens agility and timing. LJ has agility and timing in spades

My preference is neither as well but if you had to choose between these 2 very dislikeable teams which one would it be. For me i'd rather West Coast don't make finals because 1) My prelim 18 experience has left me with a deep-seated animosity towards WCE fans and 2) i don't want them in a finals series which could be played in Perth.

He has a health issue he's dealing with

How many were in hospital? The population is fully vaccinated. No more lock downs for the UK and there’ll be no more here either once we all get the jab. What’s the point otherwise.
  25. Covid is a biatch. No doubt about that. But the team seems set-up for long term success with Dogga, Spargs, Kozzie, Rivers, Jordon coming through to support Maxy, Trac and Clarry. We'll be back at the G Round 1 next year and will hopefully see the flag being unfurled.
