If we have a choice of venue at any stage during finals my preferences are The G - Don’t care if crowds not allowed playing there provides a home ground advantage and best chance of winning. Winning is ultimately all I care about whether I’m in person to experience it or not. I'm aware the AFL will take this option of the table if crowds not allowed Adelaide Oval – as long as not playing the Power I think this a great option. Fantastic arena, travel is manageable Optus – this is the last place I’d want to play. I don’t like Perth, don’t like their premier and its too far and expensive to get to. Big No Other options – Gabba I’m fine with. Metricon ok as well. Not keen on Tassy

Will WA be vaxxed quicker than the rest of the country (maybe it will, i don;t know). If it won't and the locals want to keep the border closed anyways they may as well secede.

McGowan reckons he'll keep border restrictions in place even when the WA population is fully vaxxed. There must be political rationale for doing so but there's no common sense. I think he's power drunk. He definitely can't be trusted. The bloke in charge in SA is another power junkie. Anastasia did a good job last year so why not the Gabba again this year if all else fails
  5. Basketball skills seem to transfer well to AFL. Hones and sharpens agility and timing. LJ has agility and timing in spades

My preference is neither as well but if you had to choose between these 2 very dislikeable teams which one would it be. For me i'd rather West Coast don't make finals because 1) My prelim 18 experience has left me with a deep-seated animosity towards WCE fans and 2) i don't want them in a finals series which could be played in Perth.

He has a health issue he's dealing with

How many were in hospital? The population is fully vaccinated. No more lock downs for the UK and there’ll be no more here either once we all get the jab. What’s the point otherwise.
  9. Covid is a biatch. No doubt about that. But the team seems set-up for long term success with Dogga, Spargs, Kozzie, Rivers, Jordon coming through to support Maxy, Trac and Clarry. We'll be back at the G Round 1 next year and will hopefully see the flag being unfurled.
  10. I had low expectations but i was pleasantly surprised. He's good defensive depth for us. Happy with the extra year after todays performance
  11. My hopes for week 23 We win the minor premiership Port lose to the doggies and finish 4th so play us in week 1 of finals West coast lose to Brisbane and miss finals The pies beat Essendon (they did it to us a few years ago maybe they'll repeat the trick against the bombers) Freo to beat the Saints who have nothing to play for thereby sneaking into 8th spot at the expense of Essendon That would be an epic final H&A weekend as far as i'm concerned
  12. I enjoyed that game. Great atmosphere, seasons on the line. West Coast lose. Great stuff
  13. is it possible to have neither
  14. Miracle goal Serong
  15. I don't want to see West coast making finals. AFL talking about a final 4 hub in Perth. If they won through to a prelim it would be such an advantage. And i hate their supporters.
  16. Really hope Freo can stick it to west coast. they've started well.
  17. said in jest i think
  18. Well done Joel Smith. Played your role well Credit to the Crows they came to play but we got the win, kicked accurately for a change, no injuries and playing for the minor premiership next weekend Great time to be a Dees supporter
  19. Harmes decision making lets him down too often
  20. Spargs gets his fair share of free kicks
  21. Superb tackle Kossie. Hopefully that sparks him
  22. thats the problem
  23. if you thought we were negative before..
  24. The Crows have the wind this quarter. Need to be switched on
