  1. What kind of a feeling? Probably just indigestion
  2. It would be great to see her coaching the AFLW team one day
  3. I guess if it ain't broken no need to fix it
  4. I'm not sure what can be done. They don't pay any attention to govt or adverts. Only serious covid illness on their doorstep will changes minds i'm afraid
  5. I have relatives who have got it into their heads that covid is overblown, just a flu, vaccines are more dangerous than the authorities are letting on etc.etc. They are not stupid people. They have fallen victim to some of the misinformation, disinformation, conspiracy theories that are out there. Main stream media, government, big corporations have all let us down so you can hardly blame people for not trusting them. It's not like they haven't given us plenty of reason to distrust them. The trust deficit combined with the information overload is a big problem. We're worried for our relatives. One has co-morbidities so when they come in contact with COVID they could be in trouble. They are not rabid anti-vaxxers like you see at the protests. They are everyday reasonable people who have got the wrong idea in their heads. Suggesting they are denied access to the health system is wrong
  6. Shows how hard it is to get the head coach appointment right. Not sure appointing the caretaker full time is ever a good idea. that said, wasn't given the support needed to succeed. Who's to say Teague couldn't have turned out like Goody with proper backing
  7. Fritsch has played the med forward role so well this year. Injury and age profile aside, do we even need Gunston? I don't think so
  8. We'll break the drought Geelong out in straight sets
  9. For the first time in my life i'm jealous of people who live in Adelaide

Rivers and LJ don;t want to go anywhere judging by the way they celebrated on Saturday night. And anyways, now that West coast and Freo are both rubbish (Freo has some young talent but not enough imo) i doubt you'll be hearing too much about home sickness for the next few trade periods

i very much doubt we have the cap space. Pipe dream.
  12. This is only anecdotal so make of it what you will There is a surprising level of hesitancy out there. I have in-laws and clients who are dubious about the vaccines. Enough to make me wonder whether we'll get to 80% easily. Reckon there will have to be a nudge applied somehow. What's weird is that these people are not anti-vaxx per se (they have had other jabs) rather they are anti covid-vaxx Mandatory vaxxing is legally difficult to do (i know Fair Work are working around the clock trying to figure out the position for employers), perhaps incentives will encourage the slackers. Not sure Anyway, its great to have supply sorted but the next problem to resolve is the hesitancy.
  13. Thanks IHW. I've bookmarked this clip. It will be playing on repeat for some time. (P.S. Thought KROCK call was quite subdued)
  14. Nic Nat is so overweight it's an embarrassment. If there's one thing i just do not understand about professional athletes it's how they can front up in poor condition. Indicates low standards and total lack of professionalism. I wouldn't have him in my team until he got himself into shape. I don;t understand why Simpson allows it. Imagine what kind of player he would be if he had Maxy's dedication. Maxy every day of the week over Nic Nat
  15. If his form warrants it by all means get him in the team or include as medi sub. But his inclusion has to be formed based not for sentimental reasons. We're trying to win a flag here. If not named then get him up on the daish when we accept the cup. Perhaps accept it jointly with Maxy
  16. I was a twinkle in my daddy's eye
  17. I'm sailing over
  18. People who work for clubs or the AFL referring to the game as an "industry" really grates with me. It's a sport, a game, supposedly community based. of the people. An industry is an economic enterprise, a business, money orientated. I know the money men took over a long time ago but still, it really grinds my gears every time someone talks about the AFL "industry"
  19. As far as i'm concerned, the more support we have the better
  20. Just looked at the last 2 mins again. I've lost count how many times i've watched it today. It will never get old
  21. I miss Dr D. Funny guy
  22. BDA replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
It is What's also insane is that they are a real chance to beat the doggies
  23. St Kilda are real spoil sports. They should have done the decent thing, let Freo win and make the Bombers sweat
  24. Correct but i reckon the cats will bow out in straight sets and either GWS or Sydney will come through instead
  25. Phenomenal leader. And best moustache in the AFL
