I'm delighted for Melksham getting to 200 games. It's a great achievement Lingers is a huge out. He's one of the few players in the side that we don;t really have a like for like replacement. hope he recovers ok and is back next week

We're head and shoulders the best team in it. Everyone acknowledges that Carlton are a threat but their strengths are negated by our strength, defensive organisation. We'll make the prelim, minimum, this year. Then it will come down to what happens on the day. Injuries, the goal kicking yips or a Mason cox type performance could do us in. I'm pretty sure it won't be superior game plan beats us

The Saints the most surprising team for me this year. They've shown plenty of ticker. Ratten has done a great job there.

No team should ever win a game of AFL by a 100 points. Only happens if a team throws in the towel. North did not do that this evening. A 50 point win in the circumstances is a fair reflection of our superiority The real test for us is Freo next week. I'm sure our performance level will lift and we'll win that game.
