OPPOSITION WATCH: What They're Saying at Waverley Park
BDA replied to jnrmac's topic in Melbourne Demons
They'll be at the bottom for a while because they stuffed up there recruitment big time. Patton, Scully. Wingard (traded out burton to get him in). Chickens coming home to roost. Good luck Sam Mitchell. You'll need it. -
OPPOSITION WATCH: What They're Saying at Waverley Park
BDA replied to jnrmac's topic in Melbourne Demons
A fan base resigned to its fate. No more arrogance there. I almost feel sorry for them. Almost -
Non-MFC highlight for me (amongst many highlights) was the Eagles losing their discipline and getting knocked off by the bottom placed Roos. I hope those lovely West Coast supporters get to enjoy many more such performances over the next few years

The Hawks and Crows are in rotten form. can't see us dropping games against them in fact i expect some percentage boosts. The Suns in Darwin is the danger game for mine. They are in decent touch. We can;t take them lightly We'll beat the Dogs at the G and i reckon we'll split WC and Geelong games. That's 4 wins and a 17-5 record. that's enough for a Top 2 finish

Tiges imploding. It's been a very enjoyable round

The Dogs are not the best team in the comp
-
Buddy is cooked. very little influence today
-
Dawson is excellent
-
swans starting to tighten up here. they need to kick a goal
-
ridiculous decision
-
They'll have to hub here for a few weeks if not the rest of the season. Will make it tough for them to win it
-
both teams in good touch early. Looks like it will be a decent game
-
I’m sure the GWS players are enjoying the opportunity to play in front of a bigger crowd compared to a normal home game at Blacktown
-
And again in the Granny. Potentially 3 times in the space of a month

Hope the AFL make the quarters longer. It would be worth it to see Chris Scott's head explode
-
Kane Cornes made a valid point this morning on the AFL website. Brown leading hard up to the ball created the space in behind that we were able to exploit, Petracca in particular
-
He was a strong contributor yesterday but he can't clunk em. That's a terminal problem for a KPF. At the moment he's back-up for Dogga in the supporting ruck role. I think he can play that position quite well so is very good depth for us
-
I foresee some late season percentage boosts for us. Both Hawks and Crows putrid this round. Both have their minds on the beach so anything other than big wins for us when we play them will be a missed opportunity
-
I'm delighted for Ash Barty. She's a little champion. Her only flaw is she's a tiges supporter but then nobody is perfect
-
a lot of flopping in this game. reckon the players have been watching too much of the Euro 2020
-
If Mac Andrew wasn't tied to our academy would we be even talking about him? Dogga has the ruck position covered so why would we draft him. He doesn't fill an obvious need.

We mustn't have had a say. This trip makes no sense on any level for the club. We've copped the worst of it financially missing out on the QB and Alice games and now have to travel to Darwin in the run up to finals for no logical reason. If anything the club should have told the AFL where to go. We don't owe them money and are not beholden to them. Or maybe we are in financial trouble and there's a quid pro quo here somewhere. I'd like to know what it is because on face value there is no reason why we would agree to this.

I know we're not a team that wins by big margins but surely we should smash Adelaide in Round 22. They have their cue in the rack and the holidays booked by the looks of it. I switched off after half time. One of the worst Friday night games since Carlton stuck it up a few seasons ago after being inexplicably handed some prime time slots.
