Would the club be saying we have a few players that play a similar role to CJ, like Petterd, Buckley, Green. So if we get any interest from another club about one of them we trade for them? I am struggling to think why the club would want to trade CJ after he just found his feet and his role at AFL level

I would hope the club and its people in charge of recruiting are not that silly to begin with, we would be crazy to offer Geelong anything better than our 3rd round pick as we are taking him when he still has a year on the side lines in front of him

Thats if he is still at the club. I think he was our best for the season and too lose him would be devastating for the club. I think he would make a great role model for young players at the club

Why would we pick up a 27 or 28 year old from the VFL (podsiadly)? Absolutely ridiculous, it does not fit in with our YOUTH policy for starters and the fact he has been on about 4 rookie list tells me he is not up too it.

I think he would make a really good run with player if he utilised his height, big motor and goal nouse by going forward and making his opponents accountable for him going the other way
