  1. Here are my changes OUT - Mcdonald, Whelan, Robbo, Bell IN - Bennell, Miller, Jurrah, Jetta Junior has been a fantastic servant of the club but his time has come, Whelan and Robbo make way for the future of the club(kids) and Bell will be delisted at years end
  2. YES!!! surrounded by the right people Bate could be a very dangerous player. Imagine if it was him getting the 3rd, 4th or 5th best defender each week rather than the 1st or 2nd
  3. The dream would be Marric Bate Sylvia Jurrah Watts Wona Reality is Bruce Bate Marric Watts Robbo Sylvia
  4. I agree with all your points Jaded, but unfortunately it says a lot about this club and its supporters, that we are a fickle lot and don't get behind it when the chips are down. I for one will be there and can't wait for the game
  5. with rain forcasted im going 51,659
  6. A tough week for changes, so after the great news from this afternoon here are mine IN Watts, Cheney, Robbo, Valenti OUT Miller, Whelan, McDonald(inj), Martin Juniour will unfortunately miss due to injury and Martin due to match ups, Miller form and Wheels has to make way for a burning hot Cheney
  7. Don't worry about the question marks NJ, you are spot on with this one
  8. Back in the Daniher days, Miller was put down back because we had no one else to put there, and if you ask me the experiment failed apart from one opponent, Barry Hall. Right now our backline is our strongest area and the hardest area to get a game, just ask Kyle Cheney. So its a big NO for me, he would just make the back line too big
  9. Chin up RK, its not that bad if you read what i typed i put a proposal to what we do. Robbo and Miller might be part of the formula now, but in 12 weeks they won't be, so get the formula that is going to take this club somewhere on the park now and let them get used to playing with each other
  10. a bit harsh on Sylvia i think, he was never going to repeat what he did last week, and gathering 20+ possies and a goal is a pass for me, and a big step in the right direction for him
  11. neither of them are our future, get rid of both of them. Time for Watts and let Newton play the rest of the year and lets see if he can do anything with a guarantee of not being dropped
  12. That clip is some of the best footage you will see, i did not want it too stop. And that bump by Wheels on Hird is a gem!!
  13. I totally agree with you KJ. He is someone i would be very happy to have representing our club in the media every week with the way he holds himself with the media
  14. INS : Cheney, Jetta, Jamar OUT : Petterd, Robbo, Whelan Play Martin as a FF for a whole game. Jetta to take Petterds spot and Cheney to take Whelans spot. We all know what we are going to get when Whelan takes the field, but i would much rather see Cheney out there, the future. Robbo selfish and deserves to be dropped. Petterd needs some confidence injected back at Casey and Jamar back to the Number 1 ruck role, with PJ resting up forward
  15. sorry brockstars but i think you got this one wrong. it was by far his best game of the season with his physicallity and leadership, but at the same time i don't think he has many left in him
  16. i agree with this one, but i think he may have been over taken in the ranks by the younger players, Bennell, Grimes, Cheney.... i am concerned for this kids future and it would not surprise me if he was poached or even offered the GC17
  17. MCC....not sure what that has to do with this All you had to do was have a look around the crowd today and it was a sea of brown and gold apart from the small area behind the city goals end
  18. no chance it was 1:3...closer to 1:16
  19. He MUST now back it up again next week, not to the high of todays game, but a minimum of 20 touches and a goal is needed for him to have taken the "next step"
  20. well said RK, a very disapointing turn out from the red and blue
  21. Gold Coast first official team B HB C HF F Miller R INT
  22. We should have been equal if not in front at quarter time, we missed far too many makeable shots on goal in that first quarter which really seemed to deflate the midfielders. I don't think tonight was a step back, but just a reality check for us to capatalise on opportunities when you get them
