This serves as a reminder to cherish this period. That first streak my great grandparents were kids, the middle one my parents were in primary school!

Fantastic to see! Well done all. Now for the Prelim! -
Brownlow chances for Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver?
gs77 replied to Supreme_Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
Trac seems like a man possessed at the moment. Reckon he wouldn't mind adding a Chas Brownlow to his trophy cabinet on the back of last year's Norm Smith & numerous other accolades. I'd be staggered if he's not already on 6 votes. -
There's a happy ending joke in here somewhere.

Misread that as "Max will not play next week" and had a heart attack thinking I'd missed an injury report.

Bowey was poise personified. Can't remember him look flustered or screw up a disposal all career. Trac you champion. So humble and grounded after a 41 possession game, and throws in the cheeky comment about getting Dogga signed up at the end too. Finger on the pulse.

10,000 idiots all trying to get to the one point as quickly as possible. This is how crowd crushes happen, which can see people asphyxiate on their feet. Nuts.

I just don't get the appeal. It is such a terrible "song".

Aliir oh dear.

He copped a bit of a knee to the lower back/side/kidney region in a marking contest. Didn't look too bad so shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Well I'm sure that'll help plug the leak back at the kennel... Deary me what an embarrassment. There's certainly something to be said for maintaining composure in a leadership role. It's not a journalist's fault if there are internal issues within the club.

During the last quarter we were just so good at parrying their forward thrusts - smothers, defensive marks and spoils etc. Fantastic work rate. Pleasing to see Bedford start to get some of the ball late. Loving how good ball users spargs and particularly bowey are. Jackson is starting to look really imperious - could be an exciting year ahead for him. Hoping Salem not too bad, that's a huge loss on top of petty/lever/hibberd/rivers. Kudos to Smith on a promisingly solid outing, relief seeing thommo get through when originally being held back, and nice cameos from tmac down back too. Phew.

So glad he's ours. Genuine superstar echelon.

Weid perhaps might've made more sense with Lever down before the game. Or wouldn't have minded seeing Dunstan get the sub duties over Bedford - more experience and proven performer.
-
Worried about Salem, he looked pretty upset on the bench with his left knee on ice.
-
Trac just *willing* the ball forward
-
He looked very sore going down the steps into the room (no weight at all on injured leg). Waiting to hear anything.

Hated him from the moment he grinned like an @r$ehole WHILE milking a high free during the GF. Didn't get the last laugh though, [censored].
