  1. Not so for my membership. I have been able to watch the previous two or three seasons. I haven’t updated the login for 2022 yet, but I expect the same to apply.
  2. And it’s definitely a thing.
  3. That’s how I watch all the games. It’s brilliant (unless you download and watch off-line, when the resolution is poor). You’ll get access to all of the games from recent seasons. And all the Fox Footy shows like On The Couch and AFL 360.
  4. Ten only. But then I can’t remember much of anything these days. Unless it was 50 years ago.
  5. Anyone trying to watch the live stream? Just music now.
  6. Thank you. Great to see some of my boyhood heroes.
  7. I admire the idea and your effort, but I think you spent too much time chatting about irrelevant things. I gave up after 20 minutes when you hadn’t even started talking about the game.
  8. Just wondering if this event is going to be recorded for us poor fans who live overseas? Anyone know?
  9. Or might they be thinking that if drafted to Melbourne they would struggle to get a game? Whereas at GC or other cellar-dweller they could be a star next year.
  10. What strikes me with these is how every player contributed to our great win. Not just the stars, but those with fewer possessions kept at it with a shepherd, a knock-on, a tackle, a block. Like TMac on the goal line, Kozzy’s protection of Trac. I can’t tell you how wonderful it feels to watch these highlights. I’ll be back tomorrow.
  11. Ok, I did. Now keep those bogans well away from my town in France. (Actually I’m in Spain now, enjoying the sunshine. Went to Texas Hollywood - Fort Bravo today, where they shot many of the spaghetti westerns. Plenty of gumtrees here too.)
  12. My favourite 9 was Brian ‘Sticky Fingers’ Dixon.
  13. Yes, it’s been photoshopped so I Iook younger and much more handsome.
  14. I could strap it to my bike.
  15. It needs to do a Tour of France.
  16. I might not be around then. Let’s make it 10.
  17. Not at all carried away. Great team, great players. The topic is about the one thing to improve. I’ve merely pointed out another. Yes, players make mistakes. I accept that. But we’d improve if they made fewer, don’t you think?
  18. I don’t think that goal kicking accuracy is “the one thing remaining to improve”. I've watched all the finals matches multiple times and I have started watching the season’s games from the beginning. I’m up to the Richmond game. To me, it’s clear… We gave up too many goals to crumbing forwards when we dropped marks or spoiled in defence. Despite Lever, May and Max marking well during the year, all three dropped too many marks (sometimes uncontested) and gave away goals. Additionally, when they spoiled in marking competitions, opposition small forwards pounced. I think the term is “ground ball gets”. First, we need to hold those defensive marks. Second, we need better defending small backs for when the ball spills to ground within 20 metres of our opponents’ goal. So yes, fix the goal kicking accuracy. But it’s not the ONE thing remaining to improve.
  19. Doubt the owner is a Demons supporter, because name is spelled as though a Collingwood supporter was in charge of the crayon...
  20. Yes, in the 1964 GF, had he played, he’d have been wearing 15. He won the B&F wearing 31 in 1968, having switched from 15 in 1965.
  21. Recency bias? The GF is fresh in our memories and yes, Fritter had a great year. But are we forgetting that Ray Groom won the 1968 B&F? No mean feat. He’s the only 31 to do that since Barassi. Had he not been injured in 1964, he’d also be a Premiership player. I am old enough to remember him playing and he was a serious talent.
  22. Speaks bloody well, knows the bloody game and would provide a sense of bloody realism, etc.
