Thank s for your response Angus. Yes I get a bit cheeky but really some D/Landers need PA’s they are that bad at obtaining basic Club administration. The Band F has been in the club website for a bout 6 weeks with. Red and blue front page. Many if those pages do look the same. tbf there had not been much on D/Land until about a week ago.! But Angus surely you read the article about Trac going to Austria ( with club permission) for a Red Bull training camp and he will miss the B and F on the 4 th tomorrow night. Cheers

Don’t you read the MFC website? I fear as so have said before that D/Landers think this is an all embracing medium to head about Club matters. Well it ain’t ! The AFl and Melbournefc websites are compulsive reading for up to date info etc. on all other footy matters. Is about time D/Lers got smart and realise how really narrow this forum is. It resembles to be honest Trade Radio in a lot of the posts. Then a gem or two restores your faith in this medium.

You are obviously not going to give Perty any leeway. For about 3/4?years we have pretty met our Plan. Ie TICK except for the base and that is totally understandable IMO. And now after a bad year you are on his case and are gung ho that he is a failure. Even though the base has been updated. What do you want him to fall on his sword and resign and admit total failure even though the other parts/ personnel/ sections of the Club have failed and not him personally. At this stage we don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water until the reviews have been completed. Surely you can see there is nothing to be gained yet as a knee jerk reaction. Cool the jets and let’s get the reviews completed during October as advised.

Surely there is some way you can estimate your no of games for next season by a full membership or is there a 5 game one that is flexible.? You should know unless it’s too complicated after our fixture is released. Are you not able/ keen on night games? No Daniel is more versatile and is courageous and very competitive plus would kick goals if played up forward. Can play wing and half back/pocket also. Would be in our best 23 if Bowey does not go to another level like at the start of his career.

At least he can kick goals and they win Matches plus I have noticed that over 66 years of watching footy and the Dees.

No I don’t think so we are in need of another half forward who can kick 30 goals plus per season. Plus Spargo should return this year and I suppose we can always hope with McAdam.

There is not much in ability between Bedford and Chandler but Bedford is a more standard type half forward and has wider skills and can tag. Chandler is stronger and tackles and competes harder but is not as skilful as Toby. Spargo is better than either but Kossie is easily the best but if more time is put in with him he could go to another level I believe.

Well at least give him a try in the AFL first before we cast him aside.

Rebuilding on a 33yo who may play a game or two but will coach our Verrall and ? Instead. No thanks hi for the Boyd ruck star from Norwood who can play up forward also. Go back to a Jacko/ Gawn style arrangement and both are happy.
