  1. No bring Sparrow in and give him a go. Can always make changes during the game. PLEASE this incessant fantasy with Tmac on the wing is ridiculous. Its almost getting fans thinking of ways to change the team structure to get him there. In case any one is under the delusion that we could move a Tmac full time to the wing and succeed they do not understand the logic of team balance or placing players in their best positions. Yes a player can be moved during a game and Tmac performed that role vs North in Hobart and played on the backline in place of Tommo. Great result and he could be a Harry McKay opponent at some stage on Sunday with Petty being moved to CHF. Our forward line needs Tmac at his best as he kicks straight is mobile and is a team player above all else. He's playing just fine and when it's Not broke don't try and fix it. For those in the "Tommy for Wing" club yes he played about 5 mins a game starting there to get him mobile fir his forward starring role in 2018. Far different than wanting him to line up there and run all day. The team needs pace on the wing and I am perfectly happy with Angus performing that role until say Fraser Rosman or one if the other players earns a game in that position. Leave Tommy be the leader of our forward line and his work ethic and Bulk plus clunk marking are proving priceless to our improvement and form in 2021.
  2. Absolutely all the best results for the future Stevo.
  3. Resting is an expression for a ruck or mid to go up forward after on the ball Rather than go to the interchange Bench. Maxy seems to be doing about 60% of ruck work and LJ basically the rest. BBB didn't do much rucking and is not suited yet IMO as Tmac and Weid are better. I have full faith we will get it right unless we play a tall too many if it's very wet underneath rather than just showers.
  4. Certainly Longmire did his homework and his players execution as always was spot on. But we had chances to distance ourselves and didn't take them. Partly our fault as we had Lever minding Sinclair and not floating as normal. If Tomlinson had played I reckon he would have been on the resting tucks snd not Lever. We must go back to Lever being an intercept Option or play Petty in that role msybe. Kossie just Missed the ball and slipped around a lot and did not impact the game. Rampe played Fritta well but Tmac and BBB did their job as the talls Our forward line should all contribute this week and defence keep The Blues to 10/12 goals.
  5. Irreplaceable not irreparable
  6. Well if you start trying to use cute Lingo don't be surprised if some Don't get your humour.??? Agree LJ is a jet but won't learn from you if you keep up With your Fritsch comments. Bayley is also a Very talented player who is irreparable on our forward line as he rarely plays a bad game and contributes goals nearly every game. Like all players he can improve in say tackling but you don't drop a player for a smaller weakness in his game if he is one if your best contributors.
  7. Well MFC isn't as we were shafted to this role up to about 2014/15 snd just as Jeff K has said it's not financially viable Generally playing an interstate team on Mother's Day. We complained and now don't get that gig and the Hawks are also unhappy. Point out when we last won On Mothers Day and the results and crowd? You are condemning the Club although in a much better situation now than say 2014 to a financial burden if you selfishly think we should be rostered in this time slot.
  8. I don't know their records but LJ has got the role in the team just perfect in all respects except perhaps his high marking. Sam tends to be pushed or floats under the ball and I don't believe he is a great ONE grabber. He is not unselfish but he needs to start impacting the scoreboard for his career to start producing the results from the talent he possesses. He a good/ great kick fir goal generally. We are lucky to have both As well as Tmac and BBB snd Fritta plus MitchB.
  9. Jacko is a ruck first and forward or utility second. Dont confuse their roles which will no doubt evolve in the rest of 2021 and beyond. I don't compare their Goals because Sam will kick more but LJ will score about half Sams goals but score assist more than the balance of Sams total. As far as both are concerned it's like BBB and Tmac both will contribute but at different ways and methods. That do good for our potential scoring to also add the potent skills of Fritta and Kossie plus others resting down there. It is about a team scoring goals which will keep pressuring all backlines with exciting players and abilities to keep the score going at a good rate during every game.
  10. Jacko will come back into the team no doubt so it is up to all players to perform to keep their spot.
  11. We have been good in the wet but talls are Risky if it's wet underfoot as against just a shower or two. ideally full input should see a team effort and success.
  12. More likely fail dismally KM Wr saw what Pruess did in Cairns in the wet!!
  13. That's why we recruited Majak Daw !!! Jacko can do 40% of ruck.
  14. Can't full accept that explanation it is very damming thinking it was a combo of mine and maybe a Bit of his.
  15. Well ignore the system at your peril dl4e If the code does not work on your phone there are attendants who can help.!!
  16. That is their fault I was in Vic last month and updated my phone fir the football so it is well known What sort of Restsurants are you talking about OD ? small cafes ?? Maccas ?
  17. Crumber of course is Kestral.
  18. Keystral Petrevski is a crumpet who may be over her ACL but yes another would be handy plus a KP for both forward and back.
  19. Yes I have a couple of Chandons Sparkling plus a 10 yr Penfolds Bin 389 awaiting! Lets hope we are in the position in September to choose!!
  20. Team balance is very important KM Get one tall too many and we will flounder if it is wet.
  21. No we need Tommy up forward msinly.
  22. Now you are showing your complete lack of football understanding RPFC in your Jacko comments. Swung game vs Roos and has rucked well snd been a great team man on the ball and up forward. Go look at the replays. Weid is a Good replacement but we must be careful not to lose mobility up forward.
  23. You won't convince me or the Selectors about Bayley RPFC as he had averaged 3 hosts per game prior to last week. No one else is doing that and He is often asked to defend players like Nick Haynes snd has gone that successfully etc. Drop him snd our forward line loses its structure and X factor medium player. As I said Melky should go first Out. You haven't had any one agree with you so just drop it and don't come up with fantasies they stent there.
  24. That's my point Head in the Sand attitude Will stop progress in any situation. You are not being asked to support Port Melb!!! You are putting 3 and 4 together and getting 9 !!!
  25. Thanks DC
