  1. I've made a snap decision to want Carlton to lose because of that annoying drum when they get a goal.
  2. You must have a really good memory Chook. I can barely remember anything prior to 2021.
  3. Today's games have been a festival of dross. Can't imagine what it would be like having to watch this stuff week after week.
  4. Perhaps that's good. Builds up false expectations in their fan base before they meet the Melbourne buzzsaw.
  5. Bombers fans should enjoy what might be the high point of their season.
  6. Fine or a week I think.
  7. Had a really enjoyable night. Woke up without a voice and a mild hangover. Everyone contributed last night. Hard to pick a BOG but probably Rick Lever as he marshalled a relatively inexperienced back line so well. Koz has really filled out. Bowser really belongs in this side now I think. 48k not a surprise. Probably more Dogs at the Victoria Hotel watching the game than at the G last night. Dogs will win more than they lose this year. Just. For all his size Lobb has the heart the size of a pea but I guess we all knew that anyway. Poor old Bevo sounded deflated in the presser I've just watched.
  8. The Bulldogs 'Manhattan' forward line....
  9. I wonder who the photo is of on the front of the North players jumpers?
  10. How did so many of their toe rag fans get into an away game?
  11. Why do they insist on calling it an underground handball?
  12. Pies maggot fan base sound über feral tonight.
  13. Fair outcome. Both sides equally rubbish.
  14. Miles Sphincter.
  15. TMac will only ever be thrown back if we lose a key defender during a game. It’s just one of the reasons he’s so valuable to us.

Dodgy welding on 1,200 tonnes of steel imported from Qatar needs to be replaced in the new stand they're constructing at the Cattery. I guess slave labour just isn't what it used to be. https://www.austadiums.com/news/1261/steel-defects-delay-gmhba-stadium-redevelopment#:~:text=It's been reported the delays, been blamed for the delay.
  17. Early autumn when the leaves start to change colour, red and dark ales reappear on tap and a new footy season is within touching distance is easily the best time of the year to be alive.
  18. Gore St. That’s a nice part of town Earl. I can see why The Rose is your local.
  19. If he pulled the boots on as recently as 2021 can we assume that his symptoms started after that date or is he perhaps suggesting that his decision to play is due to impaired judgement caused by his head knocks?
  20. Hi layzie. I understand having it as a policy during covid restrictions but all those tables in the front room will always get filled regardless. I used to like getting there just after they opened (which used to be 12 noon during a day game) and grabbing a seat in the window with a pint and the paper until friends turned up.
  21. Hi dworship. I know they keep funny hours these days but I've been there until midnight on a Saturday night after a game. Don't know if I'll be there this Saturday night though because of the replacement rail buses they are running on the entire Sunbury line.
  22. Too early to say really. Looks like it'll be a cracking day weather wise though. I really want these four points as I have no intention of getting on a railway replacement bus full of Dogs fans after the game.
  23. The Tippler on Wellington Parade is probably where the more discerning of our supporters end up. I've seen Rod Grinter and some of the past players group in there a few times and Hamish Blake once. I've made a decision not to go pre-game this season though as they introduced a $50 non-refundable credit card payment to book a table last year which can be a bit of a mare if your plans change at the last minute. No such problems after a game though.
  24. LOL, Richmond 2nd. I find her ok but let's face it, it's a really low bar.
