  1. This time tomorrow we are likely to be 5 games and 50% clear inside the 8. After nine rounds.
  2. You could cut the apathy with a knife down at Blundstone.
  3. Probably around the time we started pronouncing it D-fence Demonstone.
  4. Even their threads are unravelling. What a basket case of an outfit.
  5. We'd need a scoreline of around 140 points to 50 points to get to 160% this week. 100 points to 30 points would have a similar effect.
  6. So maybe 2 hours later than usual No biggie. As long as this isn't a precursor to a night grand final down the track.
  7. I watched a show online last night that had Gerard Whateley & David King talking about the weekend's games on SEN and Whateley said that when watching Carlton right now he'll get the popcorn out as they are fun to watch but he watches us with the reverence of taking in a masterpiece on a gallery wall (or to that effect). Someone else said that it wasn't fair to judge any other team on their performance against us, only against each other.
  8. Until we have a situation where every club plays everyone else home and away it will always be compromised. I get more irritated by the compromises within these compromises like every interstate side getting to play their cross town rivals twice every year regardless of ladder position and the big Melbourne clubs never having to visit KP. Let’s just concentrate on getting to 18 wins as soon as we can whilst expending the least amount of energy and in the best possible health. The gloves can come off in September.
  9. It's probably more important to keep the opposition to low scores these next two weeks to help keep our % up whilst also using the time to fine tune our forward 50 entry connection in advance of the Freo game.
  10. I was thinking the same thing Darkhorse. I was getting seasick watching the game!
  11. Hawthorn look like a shadow of the side that discovered the blueprint to beating the reigning premiers.
  12. Essendon fans celebrating like they'd just made the UEFA Europa League Final 😬
  13. Hi Superunknown. Not from me but I'm definitely taking the time to smell the flowers while I can.
  14. Not counting my chickens but if we do manage to see off the Saints tomorrow there's every chance we could be sitting on top at 10-0 with 200% by the time we come up against Freo.
  15. Geez. GC aside it's been a pretty underwhelming day of football.
  16. Hi MT64. Have you seen the footage of Ibrox rocking on Thursday night ? This is the footage of the gantry where the cameraman was sitting shaking after the game.
  17. I excluded him from my head count Picket. Incidentally his dog has a coterie membership at Hawthorn.
  18. Nice touch for the players to acknowledge the eight supporters that travelled down from Surfers.
  19. This will go down as one of the worst last quarters in recent memory. Both sides hopeless.
  20. Tasty game over in Adelaide. If Port get up the Dogs will probably need to win 10 of their last 14 games just to fall into the 8.
  21. You have to laugh at all the media talk about Hawthorn creating the blueprint to beat us. The fact that they didn't actually beat us doesn't seem to have registered with anyone. Does part of this blueprint require us to be missing seven of our regular starting line up?
  22. That actually sounds great Nev. Straight swap for Casey? Cranbourne is more their demographic anyway.
