  1. Apparently you can now text into the registry of births, deaths and marriages. His brothers are called JDN and N8.
  2. I doubt any St Kilda game at the G would be against us. Certainly not if they want to get 70k turning up. They should concentrate more in trying to fill Marvel for their current home games before trying to shoehorn their way into our ground.
  3. Time to finally neuter the cats next week.
  4. I think it might have been the reason for the switch to Port Adelaide from GWS, for more family support.
  5. Finlayson not only playing fantastic football whilst dealing with a horrendous personal situation but has done a great job to hold onto that receding hairline of his for so long. Up there with Jordan Lewis.
  6. Port crowd losing there shizen.
  7. Yeah, but not for a coach daisycutter.
  8. Geelong. I want us to be taking up Port's entire rear view mirror after this weekend. We then get the pleasure of ending Geelong's fading top 4 hopes next week.
  9. Hi DJ. I was surprised to read this. I've always considered an AFL season to be pretty short. Same with NFL. In Europe, football coaches / managers oversee 10 month long seasons and they might get 4 weeks off between them. They are almost always just a few bad games away from being sacked. Man City just finished a season in which they played 60 games over 4 different competitions that included a lot of travelling to the continent in the Champions League and games every 3-4 days over those 10 months.
  10. Sean Wight was Scots. From Glasgow. Nickname at the club was Haggis.
  11. ‘Maxy’ Maynard is the GM at Casey. I chatted to him, Mark Weideman, Kelly O’Donnell and T-Macs old man in the bar near where I sit a year or so ago during a game. He played for us around 1980-81 I think?
  12. I have no problem with the Cats having their own ground as it’s boring having nine Victorian teams playing out of the same two grounds every week. One of which is pretty soulless. I’d prefer that the likes of Collingwood get their turn to go down there though and perhaps they will if Geelong can have eleven games there with a 40k capacity. Moving it to the G on a Thursday night won’t attract 70k as it’s inconvenient for their local supporters and ours won’t turn up because it’s cold or at night or whatever.
  13. Was surprised to see my Sunbury line train home packed to the gills with their supporters. They must breed like rats.
  14. He was just getting in some practice for when he's handed his runners up medal in September.
  15. Geez Louise. Only we could have concocted a scenario where we nearly coughed up a game at the death that could’ve been won by 15 goals.
  16. I mentioned it to the guys checking tix on L2 and they’re not stopping any oppo fans getting in. Hopeless.
  17. No old55, you’re just projecting what you think on me. 😆
  18. We can all think what we want to think. It will have no impact on what actually happens.
  19. Hi 3183. I’ve also noticed that a few randoms that sit in the glassed in area behind us (extension of MCC?) take their chances in the empty seats in our area. I know we have a fair weather supporter base and this is one of the consequences of not turning up.
  20. I have no feeling either way about the game today, just hoping for the best. It's a beautiful sunny winters day however so I'm going to make the most of it. Mussels and frites washed down by some of the dark stuff should fortify me for the battle ahead. Anyone sitting in Tridents territory on L2 of the Olympic Stand should remind the people checking our tickets to enter our area that it is their job to make sure no opposition fans get in as our seats are non transferrable. I'm sick of oppo scumbags ruining my day. It's the only way they will get the message and do their jobs.
  21. This is a birthday de Koning will want to forget.
  22. When an unmanageable object meets an immovable farce.
  23. Carlton look like they could play all night and not kick another goal.
  24. Genuinely torn tonight. Can't decide if I want to see Essendon miss finals more than Voss get the sack.
