The man is a machine but does break down from time to time. Meanwhile my bunch, end of the season it was clear what was needed, haven't signed players for those positions, serve up more dross. Fantastic! aha

I was happy/content with Brown's game last night, think he was linking well with players, score involvements, marks in the f50. He's not going to be complete full forward capable of playing immense games where he ticks all the boxes. He's never going to be a pressing/tackling beast, as you said he definitely needs a big bodied lad next to him who will take do some of this dirty work/clear space. Without someone doing this, his lesser attributes are highlighted more, not debating that. We've tried some players next to him and it hasn't work, we've played without him and it's not really worked. Don't really have any other options this season aside from a couple of goat sacrifices to get Tmac back sooner to sit next to BBB.
  3. Who goes on Elliott when we play them next?

Give it a few weeks and Scamacca will be starting over Antonio, good purchase for West Ham
  5. Still think we can win it on our day BUT it's a pretty deadly 1-10 this year and think most could shake up finals (lets just exclude St Kilda)
  6. Personally I liked the narrative more when it was ‘Will the Dees ever lose again?’

Martial done a hammy apparently. Good thing we’ve been slow on transfers!
  8. Happy Hunt retains his spot, but the pressure is on to keep it

If you look at the current squad, when everyone is fit a front 3 of Gordon DCL McNeill seems decent enough. BUT Dominic Calvert-Lewin injured, they sold Richarlison and the Only current fit senior Forward is Rondon. - YIKES (Id rather play a 17 yo from their academy Francis Okoronkwo who could be a baller) Who knows what their best midfield combination is but the following back 6 does not fill you with a lot of hope ahah Vinagre Godfrey Mina Tarkowski Patterson Pickford

  12. Random MCG Comment; MCG fireworks to return after flammable cladding review Wonder if we still have those fireworks that we were denied to use in Round 1. Fire away lads!
  13. Only locked in my seat in the MCC today, most seats being offered with near the back on Level 4. Will just stand in a terrace on Level 1 as per usual though.
  14. Initial quote already edited. The Dockers' round 11 win at the MCG saw Logue head to May to throw out the Demons' defence in what looked a crafty move before May was substituted with concussion in the second quarter, having impressed early.

They were lucky to play the Manchester United vs Aston Villa game at Optus Oval last Saturday. Saw lots of tweets from people on the other side of the world calling it a swamp aha
  16. I spent the last few days at the snow (make jokes of that if you will), anyway I Saw the Gus announcement on Instagram and then jumped onto Demonland for the first time since Saturday night. Was quite a ride seeing all the gloomy posts knowing the pot of gold would arrive several pages later. Very happy with this signing. Love the Gus!
  17. Didn’t cost us the game or anything but…Medical sub for ‘calf tightness’ - cmon!. Wish we took the p*** out of that rule as much as other teams do.
  18. I wonder if they played Freed from Desire?
  19. Obviously wants best for both clients but they're sort of intertwined together, so curious how it plays out. Not sure how client confidentiality works in that field, but wonder what information/if any he is giving to both players in relation to the other player. Although guess it may be somewhat obvious based on offers going back and forth.

"Frank Lampard has warned that #EFC could face another relegation battle after the club lost 4-0 to MLS side Minnesota United in pre-season." Already panicking, love it.

Yep, Imagine one goes in the summer Wouldn't blame either of them for wanting a regular gig though. Bedford had some good moments, Chandler waiting to really take his chance but he's been a bit unlucky.

Think I recently read that certain WA areas were having stronger price growths than Sydney/Melbourne and with better value for $ etc So a solid investment for him whether he stays or not. If he goes he goes, we'll get something in return - might not end up being as good short or long term as LJ may become BUT LJ helped us break the drought so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ cant begrudge him for chasing that paper

Enjoyed this reply, in all he gloom in the thread it reminded me that we are a 'strong Vic club' aha!

Yep, Freo would have a bunch of untouchables but i'm sure they would have some players on long term deals that they may be willing to offer to get LJ on board (if they want him that bad). Need to ask the questions to get the answers (even if it appears unlikely)

Seems BBB and Gus not too bad, which is good as needed vs WB
