The Grand Final Rematch
Well for me life went somewhat like this....40+ eye sight starts to go, 50+ hearing, 60+ teeth....and for the other mind your own business. So any night time game I have to stagger around in the dark on public transport and I spend most of the game watching it on the big screen on the scoreboard. If I have a couple of beers I spend much travel time to the toilet. May as well watch it from the comfort of home. Wednesday night totally unsupportive of young families but then heh the Dees have the lowest number of underage supporters in the AFL so minimal impact there......(Good luck growing that demographic) I reckon the betting companies want some more action on a Wednesday night..... Anyway see you there, Covid permitting.

When do players peak?
I would have thought 25-27. Depending on your strength, even longer. For example Robert Harvey could run all day and no one could keep up with him. Trac missed a year with a knee and i dont think has peaked yet and Oliver hasn't (I hope). As our goal to goal line is almost old enough to play for Geelong then yes another tall is required.

Apart from May with a torn hammie, Hunt with an ankle, Tommo with a knee and Smith with a hammie. Can I downgrade excellent to good?

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Watched Rnd 2 vs Saints. We were 16 points down then kicked 3 in 4 minutes - promise of things to come. I reckon TMc has played 'cranky' all year.

Past Players & the Cup
Kicked 23 goals in his first 6 games. I can still 'see' that mark where he sat on Milanes back for like 5 minutes at Artic park. Magnificent. Who are the others in the photo?

2022 Fixture
Gee that brings back a memory. Unprompted I got upgraded to Business Class on a flight from MEL to SYD. By the way the attendant threw my meal at me I think they might have upgraded the wrong Mr Jontee. PS: I think a Wednesday night game is a stinker.

Mac Andrew
What amazes me is there are so many posts and features on a player, when from 2 months out from the draft, was never going to be available to the MFC. Where is the 20 page thread on say Daicos?

Best Player to wear #20 since 1964.
Agree. And from all reports was nicer too.

RECRUITERS BEST TEAMS
BPs team had much unrealized potential.

Best Player to wear #20 since 1964.
Having a Jacob on the list got me researching. Came across Graeme Jacobs, when as a kid I liked to pronounce it Jak Obs. I remember in 64 listening to the radio, 2 big guns up forward, Jacobs and Bourke. Jacobs wore # 20. So here is a list of all the players since 64 who have worn that number. Graeme Jacobs Paul Rowlands Laurie Queay Shane McSperrin Paul Hurst - premiership with Carlton Brian Cook - yes it is him Graeme Gaunt Russell Richards - Rhino Mathew Febey Troy Broadbridge - great matchup for Hird. RIP Colin Garland Corey Maynard Adam Tomlinson It is a very even contest but who is the best since 64. I will go Febey/Garland/Tomlinson Thoughts?
