  1. And most of the football world agree with you. Many commentators were left speechless and stunned. They could not comprehend what they had witnessed. The AGE described it as the best GF 3rd quarter ever.
  2. Mission completed. Job well done. Thankyou. Not sure nev jetta would have been the best fit. I think he needed to go to another club like Yze did and come back triumphant. But why the pies......
  3. Fritta and Turner replied to DubDee's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Port did. I remember the commentators saying they were happy with just the one.
  4. Now I have only watched the first quarter. JJ had 10 disposals, had a hand in the Swans first 2 goals, disposal by foot was terrible but did dish out some good hand passes. On to the second quarter.
  5. I don't think the Cordners liked him. Back in the 1930s some players only source of income was playing footy and if they were taken out of the game for a couple of weeks it made it very hard on their families. The other obvious player who left on bad terms is Stephen Powell who walked out on the club and went to St Kilda!!!!! for free!!!! Great to see him with Neale and the boys and the cup.
  6. Can anyone suggest a game or two that shows James Jordon at his best this year? I have some spare time......
  7. Thirsty lad. If he is in the Top End he will need it. I wonder how his hammie is going.
  8. Not it isn't. Germany and Austria are going into lockdown for the unvaxxed. I have been completely unselfish by getting vaxxed and I hope others will do so too.
  9. Not in FNQ we aint. Up here you struggle to get people to wear clothes.....
  10. Yep.....(You were supposed to reply Not Who, Hugh) So here is a player now at his 3rd club, who has jumped ship/snatched from the team that was 16th to the team that was last. Averages just over a goal every second game and will be 30 at the start of the season. Is North Melbourne the new Geelong? What twisted reality have I fallen into. Is GC being run by a chipmunk collective?. FMSWs.
  11. Last 3 top right are medical staff I believe Cunningham, Daff and Fenton. There is a short interview with Yze at this event on the MFC website. Looks great.
  12. When I see those picks perhaps there is a strong case for bundling your 3rd and 4th round picks and trading them for a pick < 40.
  13. I thought all Hollands were called Dutchy...like all red heads were called bluey, except when they were called sauce... The past players look so happy......
  14. I don't know any who stopped supporting the Dees though my sister stopped buying a membership and my very elderly aunty spent her spare time writing stinging critiques of the teams performance to the committee.
  15. They were discussing fitness and rotations and Burgo said that the players were fit, rested and ready to go Bang, Bang, Bang.....BANG
  16. Why thankyou. And if at one stage BB was at full back doing goodness knows what, perhaps it is the game style, preparation and the licence the players have been given is of more importance.
  17. Has Liam Jones retired?
  18. Or the defensive 6 yelling at Clarrie to 'Stand on the Bont'
  19. That used to be the talk of Monday, the genius/[censored] move (or not) made by the coach.....not any more Now it seems so much more scripted; most rotations seem to be at the behest of the performance guru, who might not even be watching the game. And there seem to be some set rules; if player X goes off, then player Y takes his position and Z goes....
  20. I am fairly certain that Clarrie was on Treloar when he kicked his first, ANB was on the Bont when he kicked his last, Viney on the Bont when he took a pack mark (like really), Spargo gave away an head high to Hunter, not sure of the rest....
  21. Mrs wanted to watch some crap on the ABC so I sat that out and watched the replay. Had some quality problems with the videos so watched the 2nd quarter. With hindsight it was a very good quarter of footy. What I have realised is that the Dogs midfield kicked most of their goals. 7/10. Room for defensive improvement next year?
  22. Tom Scully!!!!!
  23. Well to be honest it is all about relationships and team mates. I assume Howe is happy for TMc. Bevo keeps in touch with some mates from his days at the Dees. If we weren't playing against them I am sure he would happy for our win. I wonder who Scully keeps in touch with.
