I hope you realise OD that the only reason we allowed you back into the state was because of the positive comments you made while you were in banana land. Please do not revert back to the old negative you or you might find yourself being deported.

He wouldn't make the distance. -
If they are not going to release teams on a Thursday night, then it should be compulsory for Werridee to release his side on a Thursday night. Has he even submitted a team this week?

Who translated this piece for you Pinball? They did a good job.

is it the merlot again tonight your dworship? -
Not a fan of you trying to point score Dr D. And how can anyone say definitively after only 8 games whether he is or isn't a forward? But for the record, I don't think we have seen him played in what might be his ultimate position. It might take a couple of years but I think he will end up being a better version of Darcy Moore at CHB.

Hey demonstone, an easier solution to this problem might be to get James to change the spelling of his surname.

I think you mean "accept", not "except". And by the way, what a horribly nasty, mean post that was.

There is talk that Saty read this article and immediately had a coronary.

Is there any way they could both lose? - that would be my preferred result

Further to your comment Werridee, I notice Vanders has been singled out as one of our best players in the last 2 VFL practice games - so I would imagine he is busting down the door to be selected.
-
Do you think he will be ready come finals time? It would be good to have both he and Weid ready by then.

I thought they finished pretty well in the last quarter, when it mattered the most.

Anyone who questions my loyalty to the MFC because I didn't attend the match yesterday - and in 15 posts states that this was a "disgusting performance", that I was "pathetic", "disgraceful", an "embarrassment" to the Club, full of "pissweak excuses", and that I should "take my head out of my [censored]" - needs to get down off his high horse, take a few chill pills and perhaps consider why so many members did not turn up. The 20K members who didn't attend the game certainly do not deserve to be labelled in such an appalling manner no matter what our reason for non attendance may have been. Giving us labels and name calling will not get us back to the G. Addressing the reasons for the non attendance certainly will.

Hey Big Sauce, looking at your avatar, you and BBO didn't happen to go to the same make up school did you?
-
Think the lack of crowd numbers simply reflect our performances over the last 2 seasons. The players need to earn our respect back. We love you but we don't trust you. We want to believe, but you keep letting us down again and again and again. So we will pay our memberships, but until we see some improvement, other options spring to mind instead of heading to the G. I'm sure COVID will be used as the excuse, but it hasn't stopped large COVID crowds the previous 2 evenings.

Spotlight now on Yze and Choco to earn their keep and fix the clearance work and our field and goal kicking. Goody breathes a sigh of relief.

Sadly no Old Dee, I am currently drowning in Sydney - and so jealous of those attending the G on such a glorious Melbourne day. My info has been plagiarized from the Casey Demons Twitter feed (and i don't even have a Twitter account!)

I do not know the (somewhat strange) references to and history of bananas on this site, but I've just come across this (for me at least) interesting fact about bananas: Bananas are both a fruit and not a fruit. While the banana plant is colloquially called a banana tree, it's actually an herb distantly related to ginger, since the plant has a succulent tree stem, instead of a wood one. The yellow thing you peel and eat is, in fact, a fruit because it contains the seeds of the plant.
