2022 List and Contract Details
Hopefully Weideman gets a full pre season this year and next year, then judge him! when you look at the list and ages, we have great coverage all over the ground for next year. If the young kids continue to improve, and we have a good run with injury, adding in the belief instilled by a great final series and a flag, 2022 should be another great season. When you work through our three finals matches, pretty much every player had one or more very good games, so team and individual belief should be sky high. Add the guys knocking on the door like Hunt, Tomlinson, Jordan, and Melksham puts us in a fantastic position!

Simon Goodwin on RSN (19/11/21)
The way the Demons have handled winning as a club, it puts us in a great position to have a ripping crack again in 2022!

It's the little things that make the whole
Nearly two months later and something extra pops up to read, to listen or watch, whether itโs Goody on RSN, a Demonlanders joy, or even the player season highlights countdown, this season can never end! I love Kayo miniโs, only ever 17-18 mins away from pure happiness everyday! Then 100 points to 7 ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ so fantastic!

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
Yes, I donโt think Iโve stopped smiling since that moment! Im still deliriously happy four weeks later! Planning for my own Demons 2021 premiership season marathon on Kayo! Just contemplating whether rounds 1-22 are Kayo miniโs then watching full games of round 23 and all finals, plus a round or two of golf and some sleep. That way only need to send my wife and kids away for a weekend! If I go full length matches round 1-22 will need to send them away for a week!

Darren Burgess podcast
Demons did a great job to get Selwyn Griffiths in from Brisbane after heโd been successful in keeping their list healthy, spends a year with Burgess and is perfectly placed to step into the main role! Great planning!

Saturday Morning on Demonland (2)
Agree totally on your belief comment. Over & above Premiers very well made comments, we have other great fundamentals: - proven selfless approach - proven winning gameplan - strong backline just gets stronger the more they play together - knowledge they can win from almost any position - the way the forward line clicked in the Prelim & Grand Final means we go into next year with a fully functioning forward line, add to our defensive structure and awesome midfield, will hopefully mean that the Demons will be unbelievably hard to stop next year, a level above this year - Goodwin mantra about staying in the moment is a great way to stay grounded. After the outright enjoyment of our finals matches culminating in a fantastic flag, we might even be better next year. Something amazing to look forward to in 2022 and get even more excited.

2021 Player Reviews: #6 Luke Jackson
He has that rare ability to put a player into space, and times his disposals to perfection. As mentioned above in prior posts his hand passes to Spargo and then Oliver were just perfect. He will just continue to improve, canโt wait to see how far he can go!!

Robboโs Top 50 2021
Yes I could squeeze Isaac and a battler called Dusty into our bench rotation!

Welcome to Demonland: Luke Dunstan
Seems like we are keeping & building a good coverage across ground for injuries next year: Dunstan - inside mid Majak - Ruck Tomlinson - Backline tall Hunt - Backline small (he was stiff this year) Jordan - Wing/Outside mid Baker - Wing Weideman - Forward tall Brown - Forward tall or at stretch mid Melksham - Forward mid Bedford - Forward small Chandler - Forward small (if he stays) Very solid coverage most with reasonable experience! Then we have a few younger guys and some new draft picks. Demon list management has been great!

Jake Melksham
Agree, we only had a few injuries this year, so handy to have Melksham in player range 24-32 just on edge of selection as depth. How many games has he played for the Demons?

Proved them wrong
He picked English as a A grader for Dogs this morning, obviously doesnโt watch much football!

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs

GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
On song as usual Binman ! Even better than our last 6 matches, just look at our last 10 quarters, immense! Our percentage is over 200% in that time - we look rock solid! Bont isnโt 100% on top of Martin & Keath! The one move I would make is Harmes as half forward onto Daniels, will kill him in air, and put immense pressure on him! Demons just kick straight and put Dogs away by half time!!
-
GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
Feeling confident our last10 quarters of football terrific, a fit 23, in form, will bring pressure, itโs ours today!! Dogs comparatively, good 2nd half against Bombers lucky and umpire assisted against Lions who we beat by 4 goals 9! Average standard game, except it was close! beat the witches hats called Port! Demons will deliver four more ferocious quarters today and Dogs wonโt stand the heat!! Go Demons - Cup in sight!!!!!!!!!

GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
Thanks Demonland for making the football more enjoyable, Andy, George, & Binman for the podcast - great body of work! To all the rest of the fans on Demonland, may you end the day Deliriously Happy!! Keep this piece of play in the back of your mind from the PF, where cats were out and looked sure to kick a goal, Demons chased desperately, and rather than Cats goal, Brayshaw smothers a pressured kick over the boundary line. That act of desperation when the game was over exemplifies why we win today! 57 years of joy coming up! GO DEMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
We are winning a flag today!! Go Demons!!
-
Big Ben Brownโs Wild Ride
Just kick 2.0 or 3.0 and keep doing what youโve been doing last six weeks! Been competing really strongly! BbB has been great value and a key part of the team!
-
Brownlow Medal 2021
Even though Martin won Brownlow followed by Norm Smith, canโt imagine winning it & all interviews etc. is a great build up to the GF
-
GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
Only made it to halftime and headed up to the bar to almost drown out the 2nd half!
-
CHANGES: GF vs Bulldogs
While I think most likely no change, if anything happens will be Hunt in for: - Jordan as medisub or - Hunt in for Rivers, Riv to medisub, which would be harsh after his year - Hibberd was very solid Friday night - Sparrow had a very solid finals campaign
-
GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
Gawn will dominate Martin and with Viney back in form, added to Petracca & Oliver our midfield will more than match it with the Dogs.
-
GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
We didnโt tag Daniels either. Viney in form to Libba limits Bont. We didnโt unveil anything extra in that game. We will definitely be much better, was at end of our ordinary performances.
-
GRAND FINAL: Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs
The Dogs best players pretty much all played well, including the 3 in yellow as shown by the free kick count. Demons best players generally had an ordinary night. If we bring close to our best we win!
