Nice idea, leveraging the power of the passion! Hopefully the turmoil of the last 12 months maybe as long as 48 months is truly behind us. A fractured club with ordinary performances and a key player desperate to leave doesn’t inspire the fan base! Going forward new coach, new CEO, new Chairman, clearing some problem children no matter how good they once were and might be again, provides close to a clean slate, to rebuild and head in a new and hopefully the right direction! At board level you are looking for complimentary skill sets to cover all bases, and a board that can work together rather than being splintered, while ensuring the necessary balance and governance remains. It isn’t easily achieved! Highlighting the skill set and capabilities required that the board are looking for in a new member would be ideal. Anointing someone is done anticipating that person is a known quantity, has the right skills, culture and will fit in! Our Demons need unity starting at the board level after 4 years of turmoil! The best team wins vs the best individuals! In the end I think all supporters just want to see the Demons improve on and off the field in 2026 and let the focus be on field rather than off field drama!

Will he be, already is and will keep getting better! Can’t wait to see what he does in 2026!!

Good post! Spargo was ineffective this year, so Mihocek could be a big plus. McVee had a bog ordinary year, Jiath should be able to cover McVee 2025! Agree Petracca missing piece, someone needs to step up significantly! Agree on Steele and Heath! While sad to see Clarry and Trac go, both have a significant amount of improvement to get back to their best! As hard as it is, feels the club have made the right decision! Can only thank both players for 2021 and wish them good luck except when they play our Demons! Fingers crossed King can get the dynamics working between defence and offence, more goals per game would be great! A bit of JT magic in the draft won’t hurt either!!

Clarry needs to look in the mirror and take responsibility for his off field actions! Unfortunately he might have been a great footballer but is an immature young man! Before you express your disappointment in the club! What are your off field expectations of a player you pay circa $1.3M per year?

2024 form a big loss. 2025 form very ordinary, didn’t finish top ten in B&F. Would we rather he stayed - yes. On this years form we will find an adequate replacement. Having plucked him from oblivion, for him to leave at the first is disappointing!

I think you will find in this day and age majority of players at every club test the market! Disruption just makes it worse! I’m not sure on this years stats, but for everyone bucketing Trac, he has had a lot of goal assists at Melbourne and that will need to be replaced. It is imperative we get a good deal for him. Suns have more to offer than the Crows and there are possibly some other clubs who may have something we need!

Yes his 2023-2024 was good to very good. This year was poor, if he stays we would be hoping for a significantly better year! But this year I have more memories of him coughing up the ball or losing contest. I thought he was on Rankine against the Crows and got pantsed! So if he goes disappointed to lose him, as feel he can play much better than he showed this year. But he was poor/ordinary this year, so covering his lack of output should be achievable!
