A huge get!

Farewell Josh Mahoney
I really liked Mahoney. Represented the club with aplomb, when he spoke, you listened because he'd only speak when there was something worth saying. I won't pretend to know what he was like internally, but externally he did us really, really proud IMO

Unpopular Opinions - Melbourne FC Edition
We wouldn't have had the success of 2018 if Paul Roos was still coach.

Isaac Smith
Would much rather have inside information provided to us that didn't eventuate, than no information at all. Please don't be discouraged Doctor! You've single handedly been worth at least half of the value of the forum posts in the past few weeks :)

Yze is a Demon Again
Getting in true Melbourne people - really good ones from all reports too - is the best result. I think Yze would thus have an inherent ruthless edge that the club wants. True investment.

Dees Reviewing Senior Footy Department Positions
I understand I might be in the minority here, but I'm a fan of Mahoney (or the parts we get to see). Has always conducted himself professionally, even during controversial times and I've always been left with a level of calm assurance that I haven't felt from our other media regulars, except for perhaps Jackson. However, I think he would know that your accountable on results, and if that's the reason for his alleged dismissal, then it can't be argued against. We're underperforming, and he plays a vital role on our success.

Smith makes us a better side. Personally, I'm for making us a better side.

DEEDAY: Dockers vs Bulldogs
Walters and taberner out just means more goals for Jesse to kick. Go Jesse!

Jack Viney Restricted Free Agent
Jack Viney leaving helps us, not hinders for mine. Gus plays in the guts more - who is much more creative than Viney's limited disposal skills - and we get likely first rounder in return. I've also never really warmed to Jack's "do what I do" leadership. I honestly don't think it's a bad thing that he leaves.

What they're saying down at Lulie Street
I still remember that time when Witts, Grundy and Cox were all selected to combat Gawn and Max destroyed them all single-handedly. Then there's that time where Max got 34 touches against Grundy... just last year, in fact. It's an argument I try to have 'fun' with outwardly with Collingwood supporters about who is better, but I secretly boil inside

CHANGES: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
I think TMac is a clear out for mine. Despite a good performance, there is no where else for him to realistically play without expensing a better fit. Langdon aside, I also think no one has shown more than Nathan Jones in that wing/HFF role. So he stays for mine. In: Gawn, Viney Out: TMac, Sparrow Sparrow has been good too, but he's the first out in terms of like-for-like with Viney. Otherwise we're getting players OOP
