Ever since the R23 debacle, I made a promise to myself I'll always wait for Melbourne to earn my membership. would have been easy to renew over the summer. Very glad I waited. I know it isn't much - petty even - but it feels satisfying the Dees finally have to earn my money.

Our form IMO is all attributed to mindset. And we have a very poor one.

This deal is very disappointing for mine. Feels like the gravity of Hogan's exceptional attributes have been forgotten just because they became surplus to the team. I can't say I'm excited about the net outcome for us. But totally understand why a lot are, and the reasoning by the FD. The pressure is now on to make the trade worth it.

Gee that is probably one of the more impressive highlights package (yes, I know) that I have seen from a tall defender.

I mean, gut feel/initial reaction was that we overpaid. But, really, he did finish in the All-Aus squad at 21 years of age... which Treloar didn't do. IMO, we probably paid the market price in the end, but with a hint of "we could have paid less" about it.
