Petracca’s goalkicking
21 is now 2 years ago DeeS and yes he played a great game in the GF along with a few others. I'm talking of late, like now. Stop living in the past. We have a unique opportunity to win a couple more flags and Trac needs to get back to that form which even then he was a very good player but IMO was and is not elite then or now, yet.

Petracca’s goalkicking
Trac is a very, very good player BUT not a great one just yet. He needs to take control and win a game or two off his own boot and that means his kicking efficiency must improve around the ground and also snag a few sausage rolls. When this happens and I hope so soon for all our sake then I will say he is an elite/great player. Until then ?

My 3 word player analysis V GWS
Yep. This is a big problem. Gawn and Grundy are not performing to the desired level and have Marshall this week. They better start gelling from now on or we are in a bit of strife.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Well just back from Sunshine Coast after watching Grand Son play footy and taped the game. I don't think I will now watch it after seeing scores and comments on here however I did say in the pre-game thread that May will keep Hogan to zippo and Bedford will not hurt us and we will win by 10 goals. I was correct on 2 of them but forgot we haven't a forward line. You just can't lose with all the stats in your favour but we managed to. Oh for some players with skills.

Oh for a Gulden in our side kicking those long low drop punts into the forwards. He is a ripper.

I have this funny gut feeling we are programming to come good the last 6-8 games which is basically from now. No panic , not like us lot and away we go. I hope so.

CASEY: Rd 14 vs Geelong
Agree 100% DeeS although will get a few sad and vomit emojis but we were in front last night by 7 points and Goody brought his love child on in the last and what happened. He did nothing and the team did nothing. He also did nothing in the two's. Surely most now will realise for a small he has no pace, doesn't kick goals and IMO is not up to AFL standard.

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs Geelong
Good comments D4Life. To only just lose to the Cats down at their own dung heap with most of the side playing poorly is not that bad. We had as many forward entries, frees about same, more disposals albeit handballs so it still comes back to our entries and the forward line in general. Gawn/Grundy still a work in progress. Would assume a few that played last night will be dropped or on last notice. Depends who plays well in the two's. Be very interesting on Casey's game. Need a few to stand up and put pressure on.

Make a statement but can you back it up. Who the hell was another elite player Trac-man?

PREGAME: Rd 16 vs GWS
Good call Clint. I was one that was disappointed Tommo was dropped but did not say anything when teams announced but with hindsight Goody stuffed up big time. Petty was a liability and Tommo a better option. Plus he is a bigger body strength wise in the wet . Not sure about Brown. Be interesting how the guys go for Casey tomorrow as I reckon a few that played tonight will be nervous. Petty is one plus Kozzie, ANB, Chandler and Brayshaw. Gawn also but that wont happen. Goody needs to make a statement and if a few put there hands up tomorrow for Casey I'm happy to drop some including the big heads.

Yep it's all on us to now beat the [censored] on Thursday or all these results in our favour go down the drain. Up to us now to prove we are good enough and win down at Kardinia Park.

Not completely sold on this adonski. Petty has not set the place on fire when playing this season to date and I reckon Smith is showing more as a forward than Petty has. Smith has that X factor that I like and can do some crazy things, sometimes to our benefit and others not so. His marking was good and gives us a different look. Happy for Petty to go back but whose place does he take?. Reckon it's best if Petty has another weeks rest to be cherry ripe for run home.
