And I think Spargo. Benched today so I assume he is in a bit of trouble to hold his spot. Oliver & Petty if both fit to come in and I reckon JJ needs a full game so sorry little fella number 9 you may need a game at Casey to find the ball a bit more. Kozzie gets one more then off to Casey also if no improvement.
-
Pies might as well put all their defenders on Fritta because the other forwards are DOING nothing. They need to improve this 2nd half. Going in plenty of times. ANB, Spargo and Kozzie need a big rocket up their back sides.
-
I hope so also My Lord however not sure Sparrow has the explosive, off the mark pace in him like the young power players.
-
Hope they play Mcstay who will be under done and I don't rate him in any case. Just a player up here in Brisbane and similar with Pies. Bit of a decoy for others.
-
AND they have more than likely knocked off the U91 !!
-
Need to also some how stop him from using the knee in ruck contests. Has a habit of leading with the knee then may look at the ball. Trust the Umps keep a close eye on it.

You mob in Melbourne need to have a good hard look at yourselves. Less than 50k at the G in good weather on a prime Friday night game against a team in the Blues trying for top 8 is a disgrace. This aside it was a good UGLY win and I will take that. We are doing a Geelong and building. You don't win the flag in June.

I like this side. It has versatility written all over it. Smith gives us something different. Bit like Frosty. Can do amazing things and unfortunately can also stuff up. Could give the Blues backs some problems. Tomlinson gives Lever a chance to do his thing and of course Hunter gives us better disposal efficiency. All up I'm happy with this side and hope to hell we give the Blue Baggers a horrible hiding. Go Dees

Our list is good however I feel the younger one's are not coming along as quick as we would like plus some of the senior guys are a little off at moment. No panic yet as we have not even hit the half way mark. Remember the Cats last year had some early bad one's and flew home. We are not playing well at the moment and only lost by 4 and 7 points to top 8 teams. Plenty of room for improvement starting Friday night. I hope!!.

Bit tough they are only a goal down.
-
Any forward would have been good.

Hit it on the head Dub Dee. We appear to not be as good as most on here, myself included think. We are very slow in running and ball use. Harmes and TMac could not run out of sight in an English fog and we just panic when pressure is on. ANB, whilst he got the ball a few times could not hit up a team mate at all. Just turns it over and over again. As Jack Dyer said we have many ordinary players. In fact today most were ordinary at best. Where was our leaders in Gawn and Viney. Gawn and Grundy should have taken the game over after the best ruckman this season went out but no they did not step up. Viney was missing most of the game. Again like with Port 2 young mids destroyed us.
-
Yep our skills are terrible. Handballs and short kicking going astray. Need to rectify in the 2nd half or we are in big trouble. We also over use the ball when under pressure instead of getting a quick kick into the forwards. Hate to be a forward in this team.
-
Cripps maybe in doubt also. Looked banged up to me.
-
Plus he is soft as butter.

A great game for the likes of Viney, ANB, Sparrow, Kozzie, Chandler and I think more importantly, Langers to step up big time and assist Trac in the middle with Clarry out. Defining game for quite a few players and our club. Win it which I think we will without Clarry will install heaps of confidence in the fringe players.

Will you BOO Luke Jackson this weekend?

He's no longer a Demon so I will be booing him from my lounge up here in Qld. Whilst he was a part of our flag winning team in 21 he is now the enemy. He decided to go home and he has to expect some loud noise going his way. I just hope Gawn and Grundy show him he is still a way to go. Fingers crossed. -
Be nice JNM if he could be brutal out on the field a bit more and contribute a couple of goals here and there.. Struggled big time last week and gave Port 2 goals. We lost by 4 points. Will be a decent player one day but seems to be slowing down and maybe a rest will do him good?.
-
OK all it now appears he is out for a little bit. No issues here. The sky is not falling done upon us Demonlanders. Team is not just Clarry. We have depth to cover and need to play more guys through the midfield than normal. Just might be a good thing and find out what the others can do instead of relying on Clarry, Trac and Viney. Viney had a quiet one last week and to a lesser extent so did Trac so expect them to come out firing on Saturday. Throw in Kozzy, Rivers, Sparrow etc and we will have a different look. S..t I hope so.
-
And when we needed some run why didn't he throw Kozzie into the middle. He hardly went in there all game.
-
Well it certainly will assist Freo's young midfield. They are as good as Port's young ones so someone will need to step up BIG TIME.
-
No way Hunter gets suspended. He stopped and the Port guy ran into him. He stays in the side. The other winger needs to go. Langers was pathetic. Also JVR needs a rest. Absolutely a no show tonight. Many changes needed but I suppose we were that bad and only lost by 4 points shows we can get back into it. The skipper needs to lift.

Lachie Hunter fined by the AFL for...

This is, must be a joke. Hope Goody, Fags, Fly and other coaches on the side lines don't wave there arms or gesture to one of there own players if the ball and oppo player is close and happens to put the oppo player off.. Give me a break. -
Silly me tipping the Saints !!

Those supporters saying we were no good last week need to re-think their opinions after Suns knocked off the Eagle by more than what we did. They are now a team to be wary of and played bloody well last week. Have very good players on every line and with Touk to come back will win quite a few more. Also those saying May is a bit off need to also look at King's performance last night. Should have kicked 5/6 goals against Barass whereas last week May kept him to 2 goals and they were both from frees. Our form is Ok at the moment.
