What frustrated me on the night was that Gawn got front position and hands on ball first in most of his marking contests and just dropped it and even once in front of me he had a mini break and still couldn't hold it whereas Casboult grabbed most.. When he starts grabbing his marks, look out as he and Jacko will absolutely destroy many a team .

On the Langdon thing he played on the eastern side (Broadbeach end) all game where most if not all Demon supporters were and the Coast certainly avoided that side of the ground BUT this is where I would have thought Goody would have moved him to other wing from time to time just to change things up. Hate to play on Langdon as he would have me stuffed 5 minutes into the first quarter!!

Yep not wrong there. I was at the ground also and reckon we got the Z grade umpires. All of them were useless. Your right Gawn and Jacko should have taken front position more for the throw ins. As for the field umpires I watched it closely and that lady umpire hardly makes a decision and the two blokes kept close to the play whilst she was banished out wide. Not a great effort by all the umpires.

This is a great position we are in. Our depth in most spots on the ground is elite. You lose 5 backs and still get the job done against, what most experts think is the best or the 2nd best team in the comp. Got no idea who comes in but happy with what they all did last night and more depth in the wings waiting for a chance.

Interesting no one picked Brown for Coleman. I reckon he is a sneaky chance this season. Hope so, as have him for Coleman, us winning flag and Oliver for Brownlow. Be a fluke for all 3 to get up but worth the $10 I put on it.

I'll be coming down from Brisbane for the game and get a free ticket with my Interstate Membership. If staying on Gold Coast I would get a bus from Broadbeach on the Gold Coast Highway outside the Pacific Fair shopping centre. You can get a tram there if you are staying a fair way from Broadbeach. In my experience at Metricom GA tickets are normally good as in most cases not big crowds go to Sun's games.

If true that is poor as you would expect that not all the list is playing next Wednesday night so why would they not get a game into them against a decent opponent. Can't understand that thinking unless the main training session on Sunday as Yze alluded to is mainly match sim and these players required.
