  1. And when we needed some run why didn't he throw Kozzie into the middle. He hardly went in there all game.
  2. Well it certainly will assist Freo's young midfield. They are as good as Port's young ones so someone will need to step up BIG TIME.
  3. No way Hunter gets suspended. He stopped and the Port guy ran into him. He stays in the side. The other winger needs to go. Langers was pathetic. Also JVR needs a rest. Absolutely a no show tonight. Many changes needed but I suppose we were that bad and only lost by 4 points shows we can get back into it. The skipper needs to lift.
  4. This is, must be a joke. Hope Goody, Fags, Fly and other coaches on the side lines don't wave there arms or gesture to one of there own players if the ball and oppo player is close and happens to put the oppo player off.. Give me a break.
  5. Those supporters saying we were no good last week need to re-think their opinions after Suns knocked off the Eagle by more than what we did. They are now a team to be wary of and played bloody well last week. Have very good players on every line and with Touk to come back will win quite a few more. Also those saying May is a bit off need to also look at King's performance last night. Should have kicked 5/6 goals against Barass whereas last week May kept him to 2 goals and they were both from frees. Our form is Ok at the moment.
  6. Can someone send this great result to that young fella at the Suns !!!!!
  7. I'm happy you were right Layzie. Great result in the end and now let's give those Hawks a horrible hiding.
  8. Hope so Layzie but in my experience longer it takes goes the other way. If they thought no case to answer they would come out with same straight away. Trust your right but.
  9. I'm a bit worried. Taking so long does not look good for JVR or us supporters unfortunately.
  10. Yep. Just stand around and let the opposition take the mark ALL by themselves. We are getting softer and softer and softer etc. etc.
  11. Which probably would be a good move. He is not setting the world on fire albeit I reckon he will be a very good forward for us. Getting hands on ball but not holding them. Young key forward played plenty of games in a row and must be feeling a few niggles here and there. Week off, rest up and come back in the next game.
  12. And his kicking is top notch. Was at the game Saturday and thought he played OK. His pass in front of us to JVR was perfect only for JVR to spill the chess mark. Thought Hunter was better than Langers and IMV will stay in the side.
  13. I'm going to have a bit of a bit of a winge. Not about the game, who played well or poorly but the lack of player involvement after the game. Most stayed in middle of ground with only a few going to the fence along the forward flank then around to rooms. We were on the wing and grand kids wanted a high five but not one player came. Gus after the game mentioned he loves the supporters involvement. A bit more respect back to us would be appreciated seeing we only see them once or twice in Qld. By the way we outnumbered the Suns supporters easily. Well done to the Qld Demons and those that came up from interstate. End of winge. Now onto the Hawks.
  14. Hang in there Jaded. It is only early days.
  15. Just got home from the ground and happy we ended up with the 4 points playing poorly which good sides do. Suns played very well and seemed to have more bigger bodies. Poor young Turner standing next to Casboult looked like jack and the giant. We had a few passengers today plus in the last a bit of dew come down which made it tough going. One thing we must do sooner than later is get a contest and clearance work better. Suns smashed us in close. They have a couple of rippers in Rowell and Anderson.
  16. Yep both of them are front runners like most in the baggers team. McKay in my view is a bit soft.
  17. In any case myself and my mob will be there cheering the mighty Dees on.
  18. Sorry WCW a couple of GC people mentioned that to me HOWEVER after looking up the Heritage Bank Stadium website noticed it mentions GC/Casey game starts 12.05pm and that gate 3 will open at 12 noon (5 mins before start)for that game plus VFL patrons must have a valid AFL ticket to stay in ground but then again it also states gates open for AFL at 2.30pm.Can only assume the VFL people must get in via gate 3 at 12 and if no AFL ticket they must leave. Actually got no idea how all this will work. I'm confused!!
  19. Weather is great up here. Nice warm days around 23-27degrees and cool nights so expect first half to be in warmish conditions then maybe the cool night air will come down around 5.30- 6.00 pm. By that time I hope we are heaps in front.
  20. Yep 11 am start. If going there to watch you will need to go out of ground after and return in when gates open at 2.30pm
  21. Where are you Qld members sitting if using your freebie tickets with the membership for this game. I used mine up at Lions and going to book tickets. Looking to sit in a area with fellow Demon supporters. Cheers
  22. With you on this Spirit. Was at the game last year and it was tough going for us. In fact the Suns give us a real run for it in most games up here in Qld. Will be going to the game expecting a win and be happy to just get the 4 points. Suns are improving and have decent players on all lines.
  23. How is the weather looking for tonight's game down there fellow landers ? Hope the showers stay away as a wet slog will be tough after playing Monday night.
  24. I'd have to be the worst super coach ever. Fancy having Jackson as 2nd ruck. 25 fantasy points nearing 3/4 time. He needs to put a performance in the last like the 3rd qtr in the GF to even get above 50 points. He is struggling big time at the Dockers.
