Have you a replacement primed to take over?

AFLW: Rd 9 vs FNQ Hawks
Come on W both teams had to play in Cairns and as I live in Qld, Cairns at this time of year is not too bad. Be worse playing Dec - Feb. Just maybe the Hawks played a bit better and yes with Hore in we may have won but that is now just subject to maybes.

Welcome to Demonland: Harry Sharp
He was an emergency for the Lions in this year's GF so around the 25th best player at the Lions will do me.

Oliver Trade Rumours
That's the issue DubDee. Too many making statements as if they know all the facts instead of just stating "in my opinion". I hope he stays, and IMO think he will!!

That's all good as if Clarry does happen to leave us I will then apologize.

Oliver Trade Rumours
I trust if he stays and has a great 25 season you either apologize for this incorrect statement or get the F out of this site. From your statement it sounds like you are his manager and knows it all.

I'm having my 2 bobs worth. We should toughen up and tell Oliver he stays as a Demon and get your act together. See you on 1st day of preseason training. Only thing to do UNLESS some fantastic offer is made to us otherwise, we play hard ball.

Trade Targets
Well, it appears all 40 odd players on our list are leaving so we need to get active with our picks 1-40 and select a whole new team. Happy to start with Butters. Jokes aside our club needs to get a bit of mongrel in them and call out these so-called reporters for what they are. I'm getting a bit sick and tired of everyone having pot shots at us and no one stands up.

Christian Petracca
Well she should look at her own club. Think they finished last caro!

NON-MFC: Finals Week 01
I also am not a fan of the Cats or their coach but boy oh boy they can play pretty good footy. Good skills and quick but on the other hand they played Deers in headlights. Port was very, very ordinary and look like following us and going out in straight sets.

GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Well, him and most of the rest of the black and white are showing how far we are away with the skills side of things. Nothing has improved with our disposals. The kids need a big off season and show some improvement next year. Kolt runs around like a chook with his head off and I see no skills, pace in the team at all. BIG off season required.

The Kalani White Thread (F/S)
Grandson played for the opposition (Mt Gravatt) and they only had 17 players. He kicked 4 the week before and played forward again but the ball hardly got down there and the point they got was rushed so wouldn't get carried away with Kalani kicking 6 for Broadbeach. From all accounts still got a way to go but he is only young and hopefully will keep improving.

PREGAME: Rd 23 vs Gold Coast
Yep, very warm and humid up here after some decent rain. 28 degrees on Saturday so you visitors ensure the summer gear is packed and tell the players to put plenty of sunscreen on. This has been a horrible season. We have players out and the team we play get players back. Touk (nearly their best player) back for Suns which will help them in the middle. Then the weather turns against us. Be a tough game me thinks.

Farewell Alex Neal-Bullen
Appears so but as usual all and sundry love having a go at our club for some reason. Very sad but would love us to bounce back next season and stick it right up them.

Yes, but hard to sub out two players plus a few others like Turner that could have gone but a decision was made, and we have to take it on the chin. JVR was ordinary at best and gave us nothing so understand why he was subbed but the Melky did diddly squat also. Oh, for some talented players with skills.

Time to go Goody?
Not too sure whether he can coach and bring a decent game plan!

I've said it before and will say again, we need to recruit players from other clubs and/or the draft that have pace and the necessary skills. Other than the Royal Windsor our newbies are really just good old-fashioned goers. Being up in Qld I have not seen Jeffo, Adams or Sestan as it seems, they are about the only ones in the two's that could have the skills to make it. We are getting killed by teams with pace and skills to deliver correctly. Not all lost as JVR, Windsor, McVee and Rivers will keep improving and be very good players for us.

I'm with Kev in that we are a very young side, and inconsistencies will occur. This is where our mid-range experienced players like fritta, kozzie, sparrow etc. need to perform at a higher level to assist the youngsters and our older guys. Feel sorry for kolt. He was like a deer in the headlights, but the experience will improve him. We need a few more Windsor's that have the skills and more importantly the pace. Most of our other smaller type players do not have the pace to break lines. It is not the end of the world. We have another game this week and win it we are still in with a chance. One thing I noticed yesterday was the fact an old, old bad habit returned. We had 3/4 players all congregated around the ball against 1/2 Freo's and naturally ball gets out and we have no one on the outside.
