  1. Yep, same with me.
  2. I'm in as Docs Demons but chuck me out if you are filling up as also in Distractions comp.
  3. Overall, I was happy with our performance. Playing over in WA at a country oval against a pretty good side and only just losing is a plus in my view. The young fellas got to experience a trip with the team and will be better for the run. Only concern is we need a more even performance from our 3–5-year players to help out Trac, Clarrie, Gawn and JV. They just can't do it all on their own. Also kick straighter would help but all the stats show we will be up there this season.
  4. Looking forward to watching this game and see if we finally move the ball into the forwards with precise kicking and of course the forwards spreading and leading up to the ball carrier. And as with all of you no injuries.
  5. Look forward to watching if/when the club puts it up on the site.
  6. Agree. Reckon he is quick enough for AFL. Has excellent vision and can dispose well. Crippa and the Bont aren't the quickest around and there not too shabby.
  7. Who cares godees as it is only a match sim, and we get to see most of our youngsters and others that have come into our club. I'm excited to see what they can do, and the end result has no bearing on our chances this year.
  8. Few posters having a go at the club for this selection when most beforehand had trust in JT. Let's give the guy a go and see how he trains, plays in the praccy matches and early on at Casey before getting stuck into him and who picked him. Could turn out to be a JT special.
  9. He would have in days gone by. Big Nick was about his size.
  10. Junior footy in Brissie against the bottom side. You would have kicked 6 RedLegs!! As I said leave him be and I hope he makes it but a long way to go for him IMO.
  11. I've seen him play against my Grand Sons last season (Broadbeach V Mt Gravatt) and whilst he did Ok, I would encourage everyone to just temper their enthusiasm a tad. He is still young, and a big fella so no doubt will take time to get to his full potential (hate that word). Let's see how he goes this coming season and hope he goes up a notch or two then we can get excited. In meantime he is an OK player.
  12. Concur Roy. I reckon we are not as bad as some so-called supporters on here reckon. Both Pert and the ex-President did some great things in my view and all this [censored] that goes on by some posters is getting tiresome. About time some grew up and stop this bickering.
  13. Have you a replacement primed to take over?
  14. Come on W both teams had to play in Cairns and as I live in Qld, Cairns at this time of year is not too bad. Be worse playing Dec - Feb. Just maybe the Hawks played a bit better and yes with Hore in we may have won but that is now just subject to maybes.
  15. He was an emergency for the Lions in this year's GF so around the 25th best player at the Lions will do me.
  16. That's the issue DubDee. Too many making statements as if they know all the facts instead of just stating "in my opinion". I hope he stays, and IMO think he will!!
  17. That's all good as if Clarry does happen to leave us I will then apologize.
  18. I trust if he stays and has a great 25 season you either apologize for this incorrect statement or get the F out of this site. From your statement it sounds like you are his manager and knows it all.
  19. I'm having my 2 bobs worth. We should toughen up and tell Oliver he stays as a Demon and get your act together. See you on 1st day of preseason training. Only thing to do UNLESS some fantastic offer is made to us otherwise, we play hard ball.
  20. Well, it appears all 40 odd players on our list are leaving so we need to get active with our picks 1-40 and select a whole new team. Happy to start with Butters. Jokes aside our club needs to get a bit of mongrel in them and call out these so-called reporters for what they are. I'm getting a bit sick and tired of everyone having pot shots at us and no one stands up.
  21. Well she should look at her own club. Think they finished last caro!
  22. I also am not a fan of the Cats or their coach but boy oh boy they can play pretty good footy. Good skills and quick but on the other hand they played Deers in headlights. Port was very, very ordinary and look like following us and going out in straight sets.
  23. Well, him and most of the rest of the black and white are showing how far we are away with the skills side of things. Nothing has improved with our disposals. The kids need a big off season and show some improvement next year. Kolt runs around like a chook with his head off and I see no skills, pace in the team at all. BIG off season required.
  24. Why? He has been a good player for a long time. Maybe not as good as Jimma but give him a break he has kept at it. Stop having a go at these players who have performed consistently for a long time without injuries.
