  1. I was also one of the 9k people there and witnessed the worst game of footy I have seen live. Looking forward to a better standard at twin Grand Sons under 14's game tomorrow. This forward set up is not working. Watched them closely today. TMac is behind too often looking for ball over back expecting our guys to kick it 70 metres every time then when some one led it sailed over. It is a huge problem and whilst we win the ball we MUST fix up our disposals this week or we are in big trouble against WC
  2. Agree. Win 2 out of next 3 (or all 3 ) then our troops start dripping back in and all our opponents will be worried. Still a sneaky chance of finishing in 8 and boy if that happens then look out.
  3. Correct Redleg. He is dumb. Most sports people in whatever sport they play will confirm that drinking does not assist in recovery of soft tissue or torn muscle injuries one little bit. One may even suspect that his prolonged absence from what was initially a couple of weeks out may have been attributed to not adhering to the rule to keep off the P when injured .
  4. Looking at this it appears Spargo did next to nothing again.
  5. Or the bus from Palm Beach along Gold Coast Highway to bus station at Broadbeach then the Footy bus from there
  6. Struggled to find his way however a couple of nice things as previously mentioned and I would certainly play him again this week now that one is under his belt.
  7. We actually disposed of the ball better that quarter and looked for players in the red and the blue. Amazing stuff. Also spreading. Come on boys. 30 more minutes. Hawks off 6 days. They must be tired after chasing us that qtr.
  8. School kid stuff. Can't kick, can't handball and still to many in close at ball and no one spreading. Its not that hard !
  9. I've tipped us also. Just a gut feel plus Hawks off a 6 day break and we have had plenty of rest and time to sort out our issues going into Forward line.
  10. We'll win the next 2 and be 3/5 then some players may start to return. Keep the faith people.
  11. Why O why we keep coming back to Spargo. The guy had 13 disposals (50 odd Dream team points in the two's), wasted his kicks and we want him back after this one game. He needs a block in the two's to show something first.
  12. Spargo no goals and wasted kicking. He has a long way to go.
  13. Well that is our main problem. We must have spares somewhere and this is where we are falling down with the so called CONNECTION. No one is looking when going into forward line. Just packing themselves and bombing it and you and I could take marks by ourselves if we were defenders and that is saying something as I am as old as the hills !!
  14. Crowded with oppo players!!! Most disposals being 2 Tigers defenders mainly winning ball by themselves.
  15. Exactly. Nailed it. Been saying for last week we need our top 6-10 players playing at their very best with others contributing for us to start firing up again. At moment it is just not happening and I would go as far as saying none of our better players are playing to their best.
  16. Oli, do not know how old you are but I was around in 60's and both you and I would have got 28 disposals out there tonight with Dees kicking to us!!! when we are by ourselves!!!
  17. Also 5 youngest were Tigers.
  18. Give it up you people. Any one of you played any decent footy?. That ball was coming into Tigers forward line at a million miles an hour and the backs had no hope however battled hard and it could have been a lot worse of a loss without the likes of TMac who did well along with Frost,Salem and Hore . The forwards and Mids let them down AGAIN big time.
  19. Wiseblood he needs to put his body on the line and do some hard stuff. I thought he was as soft as melted butter tonight.
  20. Agree on the Weid but thought TMac did well down back when the tigers were pushing forward every second and he saw what happens when Mids do not get back to help
  21. Trac is a bit soft (would like to be a bit harder than soft) like Fritta, Weid and Hunt. All forwards. Throw in Garlett also. Tigers just brushed them aside and jogged away from them without being touched. Pathetic.
  22. Gee that made a big difference. Seriously do you think the Umpires lost it for us. Give it a break please.
  23. That bloke wearing number 31 should go and hide in the stands. Has none of Barassi's courage AT ALL. The softest player I have seen in many years. You can throw the Weid in that mix. I said earlier we need our best players playing at their best and the others putting in honest efforts. Some are but boy are some just going through the motions. Time for these guys to stand up in last quarter. PLEASE.
  24. Yes effort and a BIG effort is required tonight. In addition our better players like Lewis, Hibberd, Salem,Jones, Viney, Harmes, TMac, Melk, Gawn, Oliver and Brayshaw HAVE to play at their absolute best with others showing that effort required to assist THEN we might be a sneaky chance.
  25. Couldn't agree more however unfortunately we do not have them at present and until they return fit we need our top 6-10 players playing at their absolute best and the rest contributing if we have any hope of making the 8. I still have some hope.
