  1. id loooooooove matthew Parker. ex saint. so much mongrel in him and speed
  2. His Rivers interview was embarrassing. He thought Rivers played as a forward. He had no idea who he was interviewing. He needs to get off TV pronto.
  3. Kye Declase looks good in his highlights package on YouTube. I also rate Joel smith if given the opportunity. Especially with our lockdown style of footy that we're playing his speed would be very handy.
  4. He marks much better than jackson who just runs underneath the ball almost everytime. thats more frustrating
  5. I clicked on it thinking that there may be something official like Cerra meets with Melbourne officials or something and all I get is 'should we get Cerra?' wtf.
  6. His drop punt goal kicking needs a kot of work. thankfully around the body is working for him but he needs to straighten up
  7. nup. people throw up the brownlow thing for basically every promising player.
  8. I hate how we start a thread on every single player that would be good at the dees.
  9. Viney is out for multiple weeks mate and knowing how we handle him I'm not confident he'll see him in the next month.
  10. agree with all of your points. There's a lot to work on. Fritsch needs to work on his drop punt goal kicking too. He can't snap everything.
  11. lol. please. you can't say that Brayshaw is quick. I don't trust these stats at all. Brayshaw is a plodder and my eyes tell me that. If he has pace, then he certainly doesn't use it defensively. As Connor McGregor would say, he's stuck in the mud
  12. hey guys, im lazy and can't be botherer reading up on it all. When is it, how many players are we choosing and do we have a right to extend their contracts if they turn out to be good?
  13. This is the Pickett that I was skeptical on coming into this season. Going to ground at far too many contests and just being too franetic for his own good. Just slow down, don't fumble, grab the ball first and then decide what to do after that.
  14. Good. only criticism for me would be too nice on Gawn and Pickett. Gawn dropped a lot of marks and has been doing some dumb things like with 50 seconds to go in the 3rd qtr he has the ball at half forward and he wants to slow it down. Wrong decision .Ended up getting called to play on and turning it over and potentially giving the dogs momentum at the break. Pickett was the pickett of last year. Fumbled and missed 1 or 2 easy goals. Time to slow down again and do the basics well first.
  15. don't get me wrong, i love jackson in the ruck. But not in the forward line and I don't like Gawn in the fwd line either. If you can't kick straight you shouldn't be in the forward line. That's my personal belief. It's too much of a momentum swinger.
  16. I understand the commentary around Brayshaw. I think he has been extremely poor the last few weeks and is lucky to hold his spot. Tonight he was much better but usually he is a liability on the wing due to his lack of leg speed. And his kicking skills have been way off. But credit where credit is due, he was efficient tonight.
  17. Fritsch - prefer his snapping McDonald - great despite errors Weideman - 2 timely goals Gawn - Mr. Butter fingers Pickett - slight form slump Harmes - looked dynamic again Petracca - quiet 2nd half Jordon - important goal early Spargo - season best game May - a complete game Salem - surprise kicking errors Jackson - Not a forward Lever - setting intercept records Brayshaw - better than previous Oliver - enters Brownlow favouritism Hibberd -composed yet bullish Langdon - surprisingly quiet game Melksham -some untimely errors Rivers - what a jet Hunt - needs to lift Neal-Bullen - salvaged his career. Petty - confidence boosting game.
  18. Somewhat agree with bin man regarding Weideman. That said, his 2 goals were arguably the most important 2 of the night. But yeah, he was bad. Dropped marks he needs to take. And whilst his kicking action looks good, it's wayyy too rigid and straight to me. It leaves no room for error. He is super stiff in the upper body and it seems like he has to drop it perfectly onto his foot otherwise he'll shank it.
  19. great win!! I love it when Harmes gets a run with role. He seems to thrive on it. I also thought Petty played super well and hopefully gets a lot of confidence from tonight. Clayton Oliver quite possibly leading the Brownlow right now.
  20. Agree. wtf was he thinking. 50 seconds left at CHF and he starts to slow it down before getting called to play on and turning it over. He needs to lift and his dumb [censored] footy IQ is doing my head in. Lift! And English is killing you.
  21. Great first half. We've shown an inability all year to put teams out of contention so nothing has really changed. We need to be 4 -5 goals up at 3/4 time otherwise I'm getting Adelaide vibes.
  22. I don't think we can say Ben Brown is in our best forward line. He isn't even good enough to make our team at the moment. And rightly so.
  23. [censored] you Mfc for mismanaging Viney. 7 weeks for a for injury which is what we all knew pre-season would resurface. he is so important. Tearing your ligaments is less than 7 weeks. ffs!!!!!!!!
  24. what the [censored] is wrong with Viney. It was supposed to be a 1-2 weeker. now its bloody 6-7 weeks! come on club, we need some bloody reporting on this. He is a barometer for us.
  25. F#$k him. He cost my team 4 points and top spot on the ladder because he didn't have the balls to make the right call. I hope the afl suspends him for a week or 3.
