We need to start understanding momentum and putting teams away earlier before we give them a sniff. Literally every team we've played has had a chance to beat us. Even when we beat hawks by 50 points they came hard at us.

Weightman is just the sort of guy that would kick 6 against us. We don't have a good match up for small forwards.

For example, the amount of times this year where we kick a goal and the other team has kicked a goal 30 seconds later is now a very obvious pattern which I down to not switching on.

The lever one was deliberate in my view. he picked it up and handballed it far too hard. if he handballed it softly then maybe he could've got away with it. But Lever made some silly decisions last night. Pushing a guy square in thr back who is half his size right in front of goals arguably cost us the game too. Olivers hollywood bounce and petraccas subsequent fumble also arguably cost us. And fritsch in general.

I'd prefer Nathan Freeman. He's been in excellent form and the only reason he didn't make it as an A grader in the AFL was his body. worth a shot. Built like an inside mid but has elite speed and could fill another wing.

yes I agree. but Brown's form wasn't better than Weideman's in the vfl so initially it didn't seem like a fair promotion. Nonetheless I was totally unimpressed with Browns first game that I felt that he deserved instant demotion. His dropped mark and a sloppy free kick in the forward 50m he gave away in the last quarter were momentum killers and he could've lost the game against better competition. So I was calling for his demotion immediately. And just like all of these people saying 'oh you can't drop Chandler after 1 game' nonsense. Of course you can!

Pretty simple really. Weideman was playing better vfl footy than Brown and Brown was incorrectly promoted ahead of Weideman. They persisted with Brown for 3 weeks where he didn't impress and now he's dropped. What else do you need a hand with?
