Alot of drama is being made of late picks used on depth players, yes they have failed, but l am more focussed on getting and using our top picks such as windsor and kolt. houston is overpriced in my view also

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
PL seems determined to get on the board one way or another. There are elections for that and he now gets access to the contact lists and so he can put himself forward and whatever happens time to respect members decision ... he hasn't it appears been able to get support of influential people that can support his ambitions

Feel for the younger supporters like my son hearing our best players don't want be there ... he said recently we should just get rid of them all in disappointment

Two generational mids and they both want out ... what are we doing ... just terrible

Dan Houston
Just maximising his price an trade value with the convenient and cashed up norf
-
Caleb Daniel
Norf is the go to team to drum up your price before you land on your preferred destination

l thought l read that about Fullarton

At odd with what l read at the start of the year that he was flying before doing an injury ...

l find alot of the the opinions in this thread to be unbalanced ... schache, billings, fullarton, hunter are cheap depth players for round 3 or 4 picks .. those picks don't typically make it and certainly aren't of any use for 3 or 4 years anyway if you go to the draft but we are in theory contending ... some say we didnt bring in a clear starting 22 player but to do that we need to swap some key picks and go without the likes of Kolt and Windsor which having seen them l am glad we picked them up ... mcadam is the one blemish but has time and we were desperate for a forward in trading periods where there aren't many available ... our issue is we lost depth in angus and smith, petty was average, and our 2 generational mids were both injured and not prepared ... no team copes without their 2 best mids

No, referring to the old one in 2020. We need to start construction soon as l understand. Have you had a search?

l think supporters realise that she became prez midway through our premiership year when l think we were around 10 or so wins without a loss. Footy dept changes were made in the preseason my pert well before. l can still appreciate her 11 years of service however as a volunteer in very difficult but rewarding positions. Surely other past board members also deserve just as much credit

Pretty sure the board itself set timelines in their communicated strategic plans ... correct me if l am wrong

Without reading a heap about it appears the challengers to that board are looking to scale back proposed developments broadly speaking ... hoping that doesn't include our home base

Which team do you LEAST want to win the flag
Swans, cats, port, gws, blues, dogs, hawks, lions, pies, freo, saints, gold coast, dons, crows, eagles, norf, tigers in no particular order

Dan Houston
For whatever reason, l still feel we are a chance ahead of others of getting him if he leaves Port Just don't know he is worth the asking price ... my experience is also that players that develop late also decline more quickly

11 years service in a high involvement volunteer role needs to be congratulated along with setting in motion a board renewel that will likely see Smith move in. The training base being the obvious negative and perhaps not addressing the C word
-
Dan Houston
Sinclair may go into midfield
-
Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
Wondering if its designed to leave room for Smith to make an assessment of what he needs as Prez. Perhaps also shows the current boards willingness to do what is right for the club and move on if that's what is needed
-
Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
The other one is employee and player satisfaction and that C word culture and lets not forget the training base... a review should answer all those issues

Maybe Josh M comes back

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
Roffey has stepped aside for Green ... well done without issues it seems ... ready for Smith in 12mths
